Taylor Swift is back with the anxiously awaited music video for the new single ‘Patient Zero.’
One of the four new tracks added to ‘Encore‘ – the official ‘Life of a Showgirl‘ deluxe edition released Friday (September 25) – the amply teased clip made its premiere at the MTV VMAs on Sunday (September 27).
“If you wanna party with somebody / who might know about the devil on his shoulder under his halo,” she sings over Max Martin production. “When the toxins take their hold / you’d rather die than let it go / But if you’re sick of him, I got you / I was patient zero.”
Directed by Swift, the cinematic clip stars Colin Farrell and Dakota Johnson.
