The new era of Tate McRae has finally begun.
After ample teasing of new song ‘Housewife,’ a tune she describes as being about “a woman who can’t be contained,” Thursday (October 15) saw the Canadian hitmaker unleash the cut’s official music video.
“I just wanna make a lot of money be my own housewife / You You You / You could be the one l’m calling honey be my sex on the side,” she sings in the visual shot in the south of France.
Tapping Pierre-Ange Carlotti to direct the clip, ‘Housewife’ comes as the rising Pop diva’s first new song of 2026 and leads the era attached to the follow-up of 2025’s chart-topping ‘So Close to What.’
