Is Lady Luck beefing with Nicole Scherzinger? Because, we’re here wondering when the former Pussycat Doll will catch a break. If ever.

As reported at the tail of last year, the talented star inked a lucrative global deal with Sony Music – which sees her signed to their subsidiaries RCA and Epic in the UK and US respectively.

The first album offering from the partnership, ‘Big Fat Lie’, was released in the UK this week and it was hoped The-Dream and Tricky Stewart produced set would deliver commercially.

However, when the Official UK Album Chart was revealed today it brought with it the news that the LP only scrapped a position in the lower level of the top 20.

Moss crossing your ears at some point.  With a bevy of hits under his name that include ‘We Must Praise,’ ‘Praise on the Inside,’ ‘Psalm 150,’ and more, the multi-talented singer/songwriter/producer has also penned some memorable numbers for others – namely for famous cousins Karen Clark Sheard, Dorinda Clark Cole, and Kierra Sheard, just to name a few.

Brand Iggy Azalea is booming.

The rapper isn’t letting her “on the rise” status stop her from making big, bold moves.

For, it has been announced that the the ‘Beg For It’ femcee has teamed up with shoe maker Steve Madden to launch her own line of shoes.

A major coup, the pairing of the two is yet another endorsement to add to Azalea’s growing list. Indeed, just last week it was revealed that the 23-year-old and basketball player boyfriend Nick Young (of the LA Lakers) are the new “faces” of department store Forever 21.

The feat lends support to Def Jam’s declaration that they’re committed to pushing Iggy’s brand aggressively in the months and years ahead.

After learning hackers had gotten their hands on three jams from his latest album ‘Views from the 6′, Hip Hop titan Drake beat them to the chase and released them himself yesterday.

Doing so before he announces the album’s release date, his decision to “leak” the songs ‘6 God‘, ‘How About Now‘ and ‘Heat of the Moment‘ went a long way to reignite interest in the album, set to feature lyrics inspired his on/off relationship with ‘Diamonds’ singer Rihanna.

‘SNL’ continues to see its 40th season rock ratings with a slew of the year’s top musical acts…and tonight was no exception.  With funnyman Jim Carrey in tow as the host, the night’s episode brought with it the musical stylings of serial hitmaker Iggy Azalea.

In addition to wielding a medley of hits featuring #1 smash ‘Fancy’ and its top 5 follow-up ‘Black Widow’ (featuring Rita Ora), the Aussie diva also bounced into a live rendition of her newest single ‘Beg For It.’

The latest series of The X Factor UK continued in fine form tonight. With the Live Show segment of the season in full swing, the hopefuls are tasked on week 3 with pulling out all the stops to progress onto the next week. Judging the contestants are Simon Cowell, Cheryl Cole, Mel B, and  Louis Walsh.

After a rough start on her ’Elusive Chanteuse Show’ earlier this month, Mariah Carey is proving to be her own ‘Hero’.

For, during the Singapore stop on the trek yesterday, the diva delivered what many are hailing as her most sound performance of the signature hit in years.

Whatever ol’ Mimi has been sipping on (or perhaps not) is working wonders.
