2016’s biggest Billboard 200 titans – Adele, Rihanna, and Justin Bieber – collectively dominated the chart since the debut of their most recent respective projects.  As we’ve reported previously, Adele and Bieber’s albums (both released in November 2015) and Rih’s latest project (released in February 2016) enjoyed lengthy reigns atop the BB 200, never once leaving the tally’s top 5…until now.

For, after weeks of fending off the likes of K. Michelle, Zayn, and other brief chart-toppers, 2016’s top trio have now fallen out of the top 5 courtesy of an impressive showing from Kanye West and others. We reported earlier this week that West, whose latest project ‘Life of Pablo’ pushed 94,000 equivalent album sales during its official “debut” week, now holds the #1 spot.

Roc Nation is ruling the charts thanks to the latest efforts of Kanye West and Rihanna.

Rih, as we reported here, nabbed her 8th week at #1 on the Hot 100 this week with her hit ‘Work.’  The feat not only gave her the second longest run atop the chart of her career, but also saw her tie The Beatles for second longest collective weeks on the singles’ chart summit.

But, just as #TheNavy continue to sing her praises for matching rock group’s legendary record, music’s other top story of the week is her Roc Nation brother Kanye who, Billboard reports, similarly challenges the Hot 100 of another music pioneer – Ray Charles…

Many-a-group have turned to covering classic R&B group Shai‘s 1992 hit ‘If I Ever Fall In Love’ to prove their vocal merit.  But, what we can say with fair certainty, is when you’re vocal supergroup Pentatonix, there’s no need to prove anything related to vocal prowess.

Using their complexly layered harmonies to tackle the 90s hit, they’ve brought along serial hitmaker Jason Derulo along for the ride.  After teasing fans with photos from the song’s accompanying visual, viewers are now welcomed to take a peek at the full offering of the pop forces.

P!nk is finally back…well, kinda.

After the lengthy break that followed 2012’s Billboard 200 #1 hit ‘The Truth About Love,’ the pop-rock songstress taps into her rap skills with new song ‘Just Like Fire’ – the first tune released from the accompanying soundtrack of Disney’s forthcoming ‘Alice Through the Looking Glass’ (Johnny Depp).

The first original song written for a live action film by the singer, the Max Martin-produced cut follows ‘White Rabbit,’ another Pink-developed inclusion for the film’s marketing campaign.

It’s finally here!

Beyonce launched the Ivy Park line this morning to considerable fanfare, so much that the Topshop site crashed in both the U.S. and Europe.

Justin Bieber strikes again…and gets choked.

The “Sorry” singer had his fans worried after a photo surfaced depicting rapper Post Malone choking him. Apparently, Bieber put out a lit cigarette on the rapper’s arm during a Houston concert, and Malone was simply having none of it.
