Indeed, after many critics pointed out similarities in the pair’s vocal stylings, a series of tweets and alleged award show/collaboration snubs have seen a auto-tuned wedge driven between the pair.

Her live singing may be enough to strike fear in the hearts of many an unsuspecting victim, but it was Rihanna‘s attitude that may give once NYC party-goer cause for concern this week.

For, after joining the rest of the world in celebrating the release of Beyonce‘s latest #1 album, the ‘Thug In My Life’ vocalist hit NYC’s ‘Pink Elephant‘ to party with pals as sales of the release crossed the 900,000 unit barrier.

It was there, that an unidentified female faced the vocalist’s wrath when she reportedly made the mistake of trying to walk down a flight of stairs the performer was making her way up on…prompting the supposed threat from the star.

A campaign, that would do everything in its power to ensure pulled in commendable sales at worst and mind blowing digits at best. Alas, these fans received quite the shock when the promotional plan employed to push the album felt too ‘relaxed’ for their liking, doing little to give the project a healthy of chance of rocking the charts.
