With October 16th not even three weeks ahead, it’s safe to say that the Brandy promo machine is about to be in full effect.

Already rolling out news of stops by ‘Live With Kelly & Michael’ and more, the ‘Put It Down’ diva has certainly put fans in a frenzy with the unveiling of these fierce promo shots.  Get into them below (courtesy of BrandyBlog):

Needless to say, we are amped and anxiously awaiting the visual for the album’s second single ‘Wildest Dreams’.  With ‘Down’ already blasting its way to Billboard’s R&B top 5 this week, it’s safe to say music lovers are equally excited!

For one reason or another, Kelly Rowland‘s 2002 debut  ‘Simply Deep’ has never- in keeping it completely honest- has never received the recognition it deserved.

Boasting guitar led R&B ballads ( ‘Simply Deep‘) and a host club friendly ‘bangers’ (‘Make You Wanna Stay‘), the project stands as Kelly’s best, far more versatile than its sexier predecessors.

So, in celebration of the project which turns 10 this October, That Grape Juice shines a light on one of its stand out tracks, ‘Haven’t Told You‘.

Crafted by Jeanette Olson, Anders  Barren and Jany Schella, the moving cut never received the singles treatment and thus remains relatively unheard of by any unfamiliar with  the project.

As reported here, the trio are the first set of performers confirmed to take the stage at the Nokia Theatre-hosted event (though it is widely speculated R. Kelly will perform as well).

Due for taping October 11th, the event will undoubtedly see more of many singers Houston has influenced step up to take the stage.

Fans looking for tickets to the Los Angeles-hosted event can click here for details.  Those unable to make the show can catch it when it airs on CBS in November (source).

It’s the battle of the pop princesses!  Indeed, fans are getting their fill of Bajan beauty Rihanna‘s latest offering ‘Diamonds’, but it appears it chart debut next week will be met with much opposition.

As country/pop peformer Taylor Swift has released ‘Begin’ –  the follow-up to her #1 single ‘We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together’, ‘Blow’ beauty Ke$ha is getting back in the game with her new single ‘Die Young’.

All three are set to make a major impression on next week’s Hot 100, but who will come out on top?

It’s been a rocky year musically for R&B royal Mary J. Blige. Yet, as ever, the Queen of Hip-Hop/Soul has dusted herself off and blazed back with a banger.

The song in question? ‘Everyday People’.

Produced by Jermaine Dupri and Bryan Michael Cox, the cut is believed to be the lead release from ‘My Life II: The Journey Continues (Act 2)’ – an LP Blige exclusively confirmed was in the pipeline during our chat with her last year.

Mariah Carey is back!

And while this may not (yet) apply to the charts, it certainly rings true for the spotlight. For, the diva is generating many a headline for her role as a judge on American Idol – months before the show even airs.

Yet with January no doubt here before we know it, the 42 year old is already hot on the promotional trail, today phoning in to Ryan Seacrest‘s KIIS FM radio show.

Find out below what the mother of two had to say about Idol, returning for another season, her upcoming album, and much more.

She may have risen fame with this signature look, but it seems Jessie J has moved onto pastures new… well, at least as far as her look goes.

Almost unrecognizable as she stepped out in London Town for a brief trip to BBC Radio 2, the ‘Price Tag’ gem stunned fans with her ever changing look, whipped up by the stylist Cobbie Yates.

Fans can expect a new LP from Ms.J in the coming months, marking the follow up to 2011’s ‘Who You Are’ which surpassed sales of 2.5 million copies worldwide in the April of this year.

With her first baby set to arrive any day now, ‘21′ singer Adele was snapped out and about in Sussex minutes ago- joined by her partner Simon Konecki.

Snapped walking their dog while sending a text, the record breaking belter was caught months before she graces the latest installment of the ‘James Bond’ film series Sky Fall, by way of a Ryan Tedder cut reportedly named ‘Let The Sky Fall’.

With her latest single enjoying a less-than-‘Triumphant’ chart run, Mariah Carey is on the hunt for a new hit. So who better to call on that the Pied Piper himself, R. Kelly.

The iconic diva and American Idol judge shared a shot of her in studio with Kelly on Twitter today, saying…

********

Needless to say, exciting stuff!  The latest time the pair fused their talents was on ‘Betcha Gon Know’, which featured on Carey’s scrapped 2010 remix LP ‘Angel’s Advocate’. Here’s hoping this track (which we’re hoping is a duet instead of ‘produced by’) enjoys a better fate. For on the merit of their names and vocal prowess, this has the potential to be epic.

When you’re as talented as Rita Ora, being compared to the likes of Rihanna must get a little tedious at times.

Owning a voice all the #1 singles in the world will never afford the Diamonds‘ singer, Ora recently weighed in the ongoing comparisons between the two during an interview with Australia’s ‘Mike & Emma‘.

Revealing, that she’d rather be compared to 16 time Grammy winner Beyonce than the Chris Brown groupie.
