Alicia Keys turned heads at the 2020 NFL Kickoff Concert Thursday (September 10) when she boldly proclaimed ‘Black Lives Matter’ and called out social injustice head-on during her stunning performance at the event.

After cranking out a stirring rendition of ‘Lift Every Voice and Sing’ (click here to watch), she launched into a performance of her new single – ‘Love Looks Better.’

Reportedly set to join the gems being readied to line the tracklist of her forthcoming seventh studio album, the self-titled ‘ALICIA,’ ‘Love’s recorded version arrived tonight following its inaugural live showing.

Just a day after reports surfaced Beyoncé was in the process of closing a historic $100 million deal to partner with Disney on future productions (click here to read more), rumors swirled the ‘Kitty Kat’ performer would curate the soundtrack to the sequel of ‘Black Panther’ (due in theaters May 6, 2022).

Somehow, that rumor elevated to whispers she was set to portray beloved ‘X-men’ character Storm – which set off a firestorm of mixed responses of longtime followers of the Marvel franchise.

Among the disappointed, one particular detractor took to Change.org to ignite a petition to ensure the ‘Pink Panther’ star kept her award-winning hands off the next installment of ‘Black Panther.’

Yesterday evening, Rap Royal Lil Kim found herself at the receiving end of harsh criticism from her fan base, Team Kim.

Criticism, which saw her stans brand her ‘selfish’ for placing men before her career in music yet again, when she and members of her team refused to answer questions regarding the release of new music they had been promised since last year.

This, after they threatened to shut down her official fan site when she put the release of a 2011 Holiday EP on hold to support Floyd Mayweather Jnr, who faced a prison sentence for allegedly assaulting the mother of his children- in front of their very eyes.

Now, after being cited as Kim’s latest distraction, her boyfriend ‘Mr Papers‘ has spoken out against the criticism.
