Launching the well received ‘Return Of The Queen Tour‘ two months ago, the last few years have seen the Rapper reboot her career successfully- following a nasty spat with Rap mogul Nicki Minaj.
However, despite her efforts to appease her ever growing fan base, they have attacked her- accusing her of putting her new boyfriend ‘Mr Papers’ before her career.

Here’s hoping Kim fans learn to show her the respect a Hip Hop legend like herself deserves.
For, while she is yet to spawn a new album, she has delivered on every creative promise made to her base- be it 2010′s ‘Black Friday’ and the aforementioned ‘Return Of The Queen Tour‘.
A tour, which saw her grace numerous venues with a stage show we’d say was her best yet.
In short, though she may not be working to a pace they’re content with, Team Kim may have to accept that her career goals may have changed since her days atop the Rap throne.
After all, with a Grammy, Five Mics and a generation of Femcees inspired by her all under her belt, perhaps Kim is finally ready to settle down and start a family with ‘Mr Papers‘ – who seems to be enamored with her.
Whatever she chooses to do, we hope her loyal fans are there to support her when she does it.

I can agree with you on that. A lot of people who were never really into Kim or even heard her music before, jumped on the Kim bandwagon when the whole beefing with Nicki crap was somewhat relevant, but she never capitalized off that situation or showed her fans why she’s “the queen” by releasing a hot a*s album to back up all her talk. Again I’m a fan of Kim, but I think the reason she hasn’t released music is because she knows deep down her numbers wouldn’t match Nicki’s and would probably be her worst selling album, and that would be a HUGE blow to that ego…

We ALL know Nicki can make some truly GARBAGE songs, yet they succeed anyway because the fans support her no matter what…

I’m a huge Lil’ Kim fan, and it’s true what this post is saying – She is not prioritising her Comeback as her number one priority. She needs to get a new professional team, get her image right, jump on a hot feature with a huge artist (Like a Rihanna, or Chris Brown), and deliver an album of PURE FIRE!

Believe it or not, “black Friday” came out in 2011, not 2010. It just seems like a century since then. And this guy is talking about her like his little 1950′s housewife who does whatever the hell he says. How the hell is he gonna “have her” make him sandwiches?! This is why I’ve never been able to think of lil’ Kim as what her team wanted her to be seen as. She was supposed to some kind of post-feminist figure who switched the table on men when it came to sex in the same way that Madonna did – meaning that she had lyrics about having sex for a woman’s own pleasure and not to please a man. But for me she never had the character to truly play out this persona. She has always been used and abused emotionally and sometimes physically by men in her life and has never truly been about her own self-respect. She is not a post-modern feminist as was portrayed but in fact an old-fashioned “stand by your man” type of gal beneath the surface. And she is a tragic and sympathetic figure for this no doubt. It wasn’t until she came so viciously for nicki minaj that my sympathy for her turned to annoyance then disgust and then it became straight up hilarious after she made herself look so pathetic. For me she is never going to move past that moment she portrayed nicki minaj being brutally murdered and beheaded with blood and all on the cover of her black Friday mixtape. That was beyond pathetic and truly irresponsible. She doesn’t even care what sort of message that sends out! Obviously she didn’t learn anything from Biggie’s death! Aside from the distasteful imagery there’s the content of the mixtape that proved she can’t even rap anymore! Listening to it you wouldn’t even guess that was the same woman who rapped on “the Naked Truth”, “La Bella Mafia” and “Hardcore.”
