Wanya Morris of Boyz II Men has endured years of criticism related to speculation he dated R&B diva Brandy between 1994-1996 – when he was in his early 20s and songstress was under 17.

The pair most famously duetted on the remix to Brandy’s 1995 hit, ‘Brokenhearted’ – a feat that (at the time) appeared to cement the status of their romantic relationship.

Fast forward to the here and now, Morris is looking to put a stop to the accusations he’s fielded for over 25 years.

Taking to his Instagram platform, #WanWednesdays, the 47-year-old not only denied he dated the diva when she was underage but also detailed when and how they met, her parents’ approval of their union, and the ultimate dissolution of their romance.

All roads lead to February 7 for The Weeknd, who will be headlining the Pepsi Super Bowl Halftime Show 2021. 

The coveted spot is often billed as an immortalizing platform for Pop’s biggest names, with Abel following the likes of Michael Jackson, Madonna, Beyonce, Lady Gaga, and Prince on the list of mega-stars who’ve blazed the iconic stage.

Given the current global climate, few are able to predict what the ‘Blinding Lights’ singer has in store for viewers of the spectacle – which takes place from the Raymond James Stadium in Tampa, Florida.

Indeed, it’s not yet known if his performance will be live (fully, partially, or at all), whether any guests will join him, or if it’ll even take in the same format as traditional Halftime showings.

Netflix has unwrapped the trailer for the hotly anticipated ‘Malcolm & Marie.’

Anchored by Zendaya and John David Washington, the movie tells the tale of filmmaker Malcolm (Washington) and his girlfriend Marie (Zendaya).

When they return to their residence after a  premiere, the production’s critical reception isn’t the only topic that fills the air. For, their night veers in a different direction altogether – with truths and revelations about their relationship laid bare.

Will their union survive the roller-coaster? The answer arrives February 5 when the Oscar favorite film hits the streamer.

Jazmine Sullivan celebrated the release of new EP ‘Heaux Tales’ with a rousing performance on Tiny Desk (Home) Concert.

Backed by a full band, the R&B belter delivered roof raising renditions of tracks from the project – including ‘Girl Like Me,’ ‘Bodies,’ ‘Lost One’ and ‘The Other Side.’

She also peppered in much loved bops such as ‘Let It Burn’ and

The new project serves as Sullivan’s first in five years, for it follows 2015’s ‘Reality Show.’

With the set already receiving rapturous rounds of praise from fans and critics alike, watch her ignite the songs live in this must-see showing.

Six years may have separated fans of Jazmine Sullivan from her last project, 2015’s ‘Reality Show,’ but that wait came to a much-desired end with the January 8-release of the singer’s new EP, ‘Heaux Tales.’

Launched on the backs of critically acclaimed singles ‘Lost One,’ ‘Pick Up Your Feelings,’ and the H.E.R.-assisted ‘Girl Like Me,’ ‘Tales’ stands as a 14-track affair that boasts appearances from the likes of Anderson .Paak, Ari Lennox, and more.

An empowering conceptual project (which she stresses isn’t an album) is designed around Sullivan’s “observation of today’s women standing in their power and owning who they are,” the GRAMMY-nominated diva took to press recently to further detail her inspiration behind the effort.

“No longer is male patriarchy dictating what it means to be a ‘good girl.’ The truth is, women of all ages have been called a ‘heaux’ at some point in life, whether deserved or not, by some man trying to put us in our place; a place designed to keep us under control, out of the way and usually beneath them,” she expounded.
