JoJo is strutting on full steam to the release of her fourth studio album ‘good to know,’ which arrives on May 1st.

Ahead of its landing, the singer has unwrapped ‘Lonely Hearts’ as the latest taste of the project.

A scintillating slow jam, the track also packs plenty of knock.

The promo track’s premiere follows the release lead single ‘Man.’

After first topping charts with their joint 2007 hit ‘Kiss Kiss,’ hitmakers T-Pain and Chris Brown join forces again to shoot for a redo courtesy of their new single, ‘Wake Up Dead.’

Produced by T-Pain and KC-Supreme, the haunting cut was first teased during T’s Verzuz battle with Lil Jon at the top of the month.

“I don’t wanna wake up dead, ooh-ooh / If I ain’t got you, then I’m already gone / Baby, don’t leave me alone / ‘Cause I don’t wanna wake up dead, ooh-ooh / I’ma take twenty-three shots of Patrón / Just gonna keep comin’ back home / I don’t wanna wake up,” they wail on the chorus.

In 2016, singer-songwriter Linda Perry – famous for songs like Christina Aguilera‘s ‘Beautiful,’ P!nk‘s ‘Get the Party Started,’ and more – got drama started when she took to press to say Sheila E. was ‘not relevant’ enough to tribute Prince at the Billboard Music Awards in place of Madonna.

Fast forward to 2020, another performer is echoing Perry’s sentiment – Apollonia Kotero.

Kotero, one of the Purple One’s most memorable female protegés, took to social media ahead of the GRAMMY’s recent CBS salute to the Pop icon to call out Sheila for milking his legacy for attention.  She even had a few choice words for the event’s organizers for not inviting his band, The Revolution, to participate in the tribute.

Bad news for ‘Make Her Feel Good’ hitmaker Teairra Mari.

The singer-turned-‘Love & Hip Hop’ reality TV star has been public about her reluctancy to pay 50 Cent after he won a revenge porn lawsuit she filed in 2018.  As a result, the judge ordered Mari pay a sweet $30,000 to the ‘Candy Shop’ rapper to cover his legal bills for having to defend himself in court.

In the time since, the amount has increased to $40,000 due to other fees because the 32-year-old claims she is unable to pay the legal bill in full.  50’s not buying it, though.

To ensure he gets his money, the media mogul recently filed a lien against Mari’s assets and property in an attempt to collect.

Alicia Keys keeps the upliftment going on new song ‘Good Job.’

Served up as the latest taste of incoming album ‘Alicia,’ the haunting hymn expresses gratitude to those whose efforts – in various corners of life – may have gone unnoticed.

Suffice to say, in light of the global health crisis, it arrives at an apt time.

Speaking on CNN’s Anderson Cooper-hosted ‘Town Hall,’ the 15-time GRAMMY winner shared that the song is being released in dedication to all the essential workers helping combat the pandemic.

Its arrival comes on the heels of ‘Underdog,’ which is thematically similar and topped iTunes upon becoming anthem of hope.
