Summer may be coming to a close, but Chance the Rapper‘s looking to soak up every last second before waving goodbye.

Hot on the promo trail in support of his debut studio album, ‘The Big Day,’ Chance – who has already blazed the likes of ‘Ellen,’ ‘Good Morning America,’ and more with performances of the LP’s critically acclaimed content (click here to watch) – continued his efforts on Tuesday’s episode of ‘Jimmy Kimmel Live!’ (September 17).

Dressed as a lifeguard and joined by vocal powerhouses En Vogue and award-winning Gospel star Kierra Sheard, the trio of acts rocked the crowd with a stirring live rendition of his tune, “I Got You (Always and Forever).”

After weeks of taking to social media to voice their displeasure over the lack of television promotion Katy Perry‘s latest singles, ‘Never Really Over’ and ‘Small Talk,’ have received since their respective debuts (click here to read more), the singer’s fans – affectionately known as #KatyCats – must certainly be gleaming after she made a pit stop on Wednesday’s episode of ‘Ellen’ (September 18).

While there the soon-to-be Mrs. Bloom dished on her fiance Orlando Bloom, building a friendship with former foe Taylor Swift, and ditching the traditional album recording route to focus solely on singles.  Ahead of the unveiling of the music video for her next release, ‘Harleys in Hawaii,’ Perry made a splash on the ‘Ellen’ stage with the first televised performance of her ‘Small Talk.’

‘F*ck It Up’ performer Iggy Azalea believes Wendy Williams got her f*cked up if she thought a recent on-air diss from her top-rated talk show was going to slide.

The self-proclaimed Queen of All Media royally took aim at the saucy Aussie on Monday’s episode (September 16th) while weighing in on Nicki Minaj‘s retirement.  Asserting the Harajuku Barbie’s recently announced departure from the music scene would irreparably damage her career (click here to read more), Williams pointed to Azalea as proof of the negative impact time off can have on one’s legacy.

Referring to the 29-year-old as “the Australian girl with the fake body,” the comment eventually reached the desk of the ‘Fancy’ hitmaker who, in turn, took to Twitter to offer a stinging clap back.

Pop pin-up Liam Payne re-revs his solo charge with the release of new single ‘Stack It Up.’ The video for which was unveiled moments ago. 

To assist his cause, the former One Direction member has teamed with rapper Boogie Wit Da Hoodie.

That wasn’t the only help the 26-year-old has piecing together the cut, for it was penned by  chart titan Ed Sheeran alongside Steve Mac, and Fred Gibson; with Boogie helming his contribution.

Having achieved success with his premiere solo effort ‘Strip That Down,’ it’s proven difficult for Payne to replicate in the two year’s that have passed.

And beyond posing for a striking feature shoot, she seizes the moment to get all sorts of candid about a number of topics.

Within her accompanying interview, she waxes honest about the fall-out with her former label head – a split which facilitated Scooter Braun‘s controversial purchase of her master recordings.

Celine Dion sets sail on her ‘Courage Tour’ tonight and marks the occasion with the release of three new songs from her upcoming album of the same name.

The trio of tracks are the Sia penned ‘Lying Down’, ‘Imperfections,’ and the LP’s title track.

They arrive ahead of the project’s November 15th release and function as the latest taste of the legend’s first English-language album in six years.

Pink sprung a surprise on fans tonight with the premiere of the video for ‘Hurts 2B Human’ – the title track from her latest studio album.

A collaboration with label-mate Khalid, the visual sees the Pop pair highlight the hardship embedded in love and emphasize how much we depend on one another.

The clip arrives on the heels of the ‘Beautiful Trauma World Tour,’ which was recently named one of the highest grossing female tours of all-time.

The mixed reviews that greeted the announcement of a Whitney Houston hologram tour acted as no deterrent for the singer’s estate who, as a recent press release confirmed, are moving forward as planned with the digitized diva depiction (click here to read more on that).

Titled ‘An Evening With Whitney,’ the trek, armed with Houston’s greatest chart-topping hits, will attempt to recreate the magic of her live stage offerings by utilizing a live band and dancers (under the choreographic direction of the legendary Fatima).  Kicking off its international leg January 23rd with appearances to follow in England, Belgium, Switzerland, Germany, and more before wrapping up in Minsk, Belarus on April 3rd, the BASE Hologram event – produced in partnership with the late Grammy winner’s estate – will take a summer break before hitting American soil in fall 2020.

As we reported here, Pop icon Mariah Carey was tapped to record the theme song for ABC’s ‘black-ish’ spinoff, ‘mixed-ish.’  Starring Mark Paul Gosselaar and Tika Sumpter, the series – set to hit screens September 24 – will unveil its pilot immediately after the new season premiere of its forerunner.

Speaking on the show’s opening tune, titled ‘In the Mix,’ Carey took to press to say:

“As a biracial woman in the entertainment industry, there was no way I did not want to be a part of mixed-ish, especially after seeing the pilot, which I loved.”

With little warning Beyonce took to social media Sunday (September 15) to deliver a gift to her beloved fan base (better known as the #Beyhive).  Packaged in the form of a behind the scenes ABC special (as we reported here), the diva offered viewers an inside look at the creation of her ‘Lion King’-inspired album, ‘The Gift.’  Zooming to #1 on Billboard Soundtrack and R&B Album charts respectively, the set – kicked off by the anthemic ‘Spirit’ – was lauded by critics for its inclusion of the who’s who of the Afrobeats scene, feminist concepts, and socially conscious lyrics decorated with unapologetic themes of pro-Blackness.

In an effort to show fans how all that magic came to be, the Grammy-winner unveiled ‘Beyonce Presents: Making the Gift.’  Airing Monday (September 16), the special may have given viewers little time to prepare but still managed to hold its own against the night’s many forms of ‘must see TV’ including sports, news, and scripted programming.
