For over 30 years, Madonna has consistently used her platform to champion a number of causes – and at 60 she’s showing no signs of letting up.

The Pop queen just premiered the video for ‘God Control’ from chart-topping album ‘Madame X.’

While the song is very much a dancefloor jam, Madge drives in a politically-charged direction for its visual.

Directed by Jonas Akerlund, the cinematic clip spotlights gun violence and the singer’s belief in the need for reform.

She said of the vid:

“This is your wake up call. Gun violence disproportionately affects children, teenagers and the marginalized in our communities. Honor the victims and demand GUN CONTROL. NOW. Volunteer, stand up, donate, reach out. Wake up and insist on common-sense gun safety legislation. Innocent lives depend on it. Join me in supporting several organizations.”

Just days after reigniting beef with singer Miley Cyrus by referring to the ‘Wrecking Ball’ beauty as ‘Perdue chicken’ (click here to read more), Nicki Minaj grabbed headlines today for beefing with popular fast food chain Wendy’s over their chicken.

Taking to their official Twitter page, Wendy’s announced the return of their spicy chicken nuggets – much to the delight of their followers.  But, while some readied their coins in anticipation for the nuggets’ August 19th comeback, Minaj took to Twitter to hit the chain with criticism.

Just 24 hours ahead of the premiere of the music video for her new single, ‘Press,’ rapstress Cardi B found herself nabbing undesired press for her reported involvement in an August 2018 brawl at a strip club.

As we reported here, the Grammy winner was recently hit with charges that included felony attempted assault with intent to cause serious physical injury, misdemeanor reckless endangerment, assault, criminal solicitation, conspiracy and harassment.

Donning blue hair and a navy pantsuit, the rapstress – fresh from a historic win at the BET Awards (click here to read) – took to a New York court on Tuesday (June 25) to officially render her plea.
