Media puppeteer Madonna had made many a headline since announcing the release of her new album ‘M.D.N.A’.

Indeed, a potent potion of collaborations with Nicki Minaj and comments on Lady GaGa and Janet Jackson have seen the Pop royal a fixture on the lips of many.

Yet, it’s Jackson who continues to find herself at the receiving end of ol’ Maggie’s disfavour. Find out what the ‘Hung Up’ singer had to say about her foe, and the response of Janet’s choreographer after the jump…

We all have one. That aunty, grandma, momma, who think’s they’re “cool” because they roll with the young’uns.

Sadly, recent years have seen Madonna dabble with such antics. Indeed, Material Madge has employed the likes of Britney Spears, Justin Timberlake, and Nicki Minaj, in a bid to remain relevant in the modern climate.

And though some may argue the 53 year old to be smart with her approach, her latest collaboration shows age may well be catching up with her better judgement.

For many, Lady GaGa is Pop’s most palatable dish. Indeed, the 25 year old  presents something fresh, new, and different, while giving a nod to the Pop eccentrics of the past.

Yet, the cake she’s serving up is widely agreed to have been baked by Madonna – meaning trouble was always around the corner.

Noted for her Hip-Hop-esque “beefs”, the 53 old has sunk her claws into her one-time friend during a number of stinging interviews recently; leaving wondering what her motiv is.

Looks like ‘Lucky Star’ singer Madonna‘s 2012 is already starting off on the right note. Despite mixed reviews for her directorial effort ‘W.E.’, Madge’s musical contribution to the film, ‘Masterpiece’, nabbed ‘Best Original Song’ at tonight’s Golden Globe ceremony (but the film later lost ‘Best Original Score’). Going head to head with fellow music monarch Mary J. Blige, for ‘The Living Proof’ from ‘The Help’, the win marks Madonna’s second Golden Globe  – the first being for ‘Best Actress in a Comedy/Musical’ in the 1996 musical ‘Evita’.

Reportedly putting the finishing touches on her forthcoming album ‘MDNA’, this victory certainly highlights a week that has seen her Madgesty in headlines for less flattering circumstances (see: digs at Lady Gaga, Janet Jackson).  Fans of the diva will next see her on ‘The Tonight Show’ with Jay Leno continuing her promo rounds for the movie and upcoming album.

Until then get into this video of her acceptance speech and red carpet pics:

Pop megastar Madonna has, over the years, made no secret of her penchant for causing controversy. And, with a new album on the horizon, it seems the 53 year old is digging into her old bag of tricks.

Indeed, seemingly discontent with her subtle, yet detectable digs at Lady GaGa, her Madgesty has reportedly sunk her claws into fellow Pop icon and longtime rival – Janet Jackson.

Tonight saw the highly anticipated second half of ABC’s 2-part interview with pop queen Madonna.  Crafting a nearly three decade long career off capturing public attention (for controversy as much as catchy hits), it’s safe to say the 53-year-old hitmaker is using the buzz drummed up for her stinging comments on Lady Gaga to segue into an intro for ‘MDNA’ – her forthcoming album.

Already making headlines for enlisting Sri Lankan singer/rapper M.I.A. and ‘Moment 4 Life’ rapstress Nicki Minaj for the album’s lead single ‘Give Me All Your Love’, ABC was given an chance to attend a private recording session involving the former and Madge.  The visual is a very intimately set showing as the two work to craft what Madonna is indeed hoping will be her next monster hit.

‘Born This Way’ wailer Lady Gaga has certainly been in the scope of a certain pop icon as of late.  During the promotional push for her latest film ‘W.E.’, Madonna, who is finding her name stamped on many-a-headline for her recent remarks about the Pop eccentric, has gotten fans all riled up after her ‘Nightline’ interview.

While the ‘Hard Candy’ hitmaker didn’t exactly have sweet things to say about Gaga (who she has praised in the past), her visit to The Graham Norton Show somewhat cleared up any rumors that the two are feuding.  In the short interview, Madge confirms the title of her forthcoming album ‘MDNA’ (although it is subject to change) and reheated the hot topic of she and Ms. Germanotta.

Quizzed on a number of topics including the ‘Give Me All Your Love’ leak, her love life, and more, before fans can get the full view of the rest of her interview with Cynthia McFadden on tonight’s’ ’20/20′, they should in to Madge on Graham’s after the jump:

In case you didn’t know, Madonna does not like Lady GaGa.

Indeed, in what will be sure to have the ‘Pokerface’ belle wondering just what she has done to offend her older counterpart, today saw the ‘She’s Not Me’ singer air out her feelings towards her during an interview in promotion of her upcoming album and latest movie ‘WE’

‘Open Your Heart’ hitmaker Madonna is certainly hoping fans are ready to open hearts, eyes, ears, and wallets to her 12th studio LP ‘MDNA‘ (due in spring).  While the past year or so has seen the diva considerably low key the spotlight is now back on the 53-year-old.

So, in prepping a comeback to the music scene, there is no better way get people talking than talking about other people.  A note she has obviously taken as her ‘ABC Nightline’ interview reveals.

With some fans fuming at her mention of once praised Pop heir Lady Gaga in clips, last night saw the full unveil of the candid interview that is sure to get tongues wagging like only Madge can.

Upon the release of Lady GaGa‘s  upbeat anthem ‘Born This Way’, the songbird found herself coming under heavy fire  from many critics who suggested that the number was a direct ‘rip off’ of Madonna‘s iconic jam, ‘Express Yourself‘.

Now, almost a year after ‘Born‘s release, the Pop icon has shared her opinion on the track, an opinion which may just make life very awkward for mutual Interscope boss, Jimmy Iovine and any associated with both ladies.

‘Like A Prayer’ performer Madonna is apparently looking to answer the prayers of many-a-fan who have long awaited the follow-up to her 2008 #1 album ‘Hard Candy’.  In conjunction with keeping herself atop headlines for temporarily trading in her ‘diva’ title for ‘director’ billing in ‘W.E.’, the singer is readying a comeback to Billboard with ‘MDNA’ – her 12th.  Premiering its lead single via live performance at this year’s SuperBowl, the ‘Hung Up’ hitmaker enlisted rap eccentric Nicki Minaj and M.I.A. for backing on the album’s first single ‘Give Me All Your Love’.

While fans anxiously await the song’s official unveiling, Madge is oiling up her promo machine and it begins with an interview on ABC’s ‘NightLine’.  Set to air tomorrow night, Miss Ciccone has already alluded to thoughts on pop predecessor Lady Gaga, but see what she had to say about other heir to throne Britney Spears in this alternate preview of the forthcoming interview:

With the countdown to Madonna‘s musical return in full swing, the Pop royal is clawing her way back into the spotlight.

Having today revealed that her forthcoming album is titled ‘M.D.N.A’, the singer stepped out for the London premiere of ‘W.E’ – her latest effort as a movie director.

For many, though, tonight’s showing is little more than a cleverly orchestrated means of relaunching her media presence. Indeed, ‘W.E’ already received a London premiere last October at the BFI London Film Festival; while it’s no coincidence that the release of her new single ‘Gimmie Your Luvin’ and high-profile Superbowl performance are merely weeks away.

Got to love how the “premium” acts have their strategy on point!
