Fresh from launching its lead single ‘Hurts’ on BBC Radio 1 this morning, the multi-platinum chanteuse stopped by the station’s Live Lounge for a show-stopping set.

Backed by a full band, she performed an array of songs – including a cover of Rihanna‘s ‘FourFiveSeconds.’

After a three year hiatus, the multi-Platinum singer returns with ‘Hurts’ – the lead single from her sophomore album ‘Long Live The Angels.’

One of the last songs written for the LP, Sande explained her decision to introduce the project with the song saying…

“I wanted to release ‘Hurts’ first because it felt like everything I’d avoided saying for so long. It’s a real explosion. It’s everything I wish I’d said years and years ago. I didn’t want to hold anything back anymore.”
