As we previously reported, Ariana Grande is well on her way to her third chart-topping album thanks to the anticipated response to her new album, ‘Sweetener.’

And, while the pint sized powerhouse may be leading the race top #1 this week with her fourth LP (thanks to its lead singles ‘No Tears Left to Cry’ and ‘Light is Coming’), she’s still hot on the promo trail in its support.  Kicking off her week with a stunning performance of the album’s current single, ‘God is a Woman,’ at this year’s MTV VMAs, Grande took a stripped version of  the tune to ‘Good Morning America’ this morning.

The aspiring rapper Mariah Lynn is said to be in a state of deep discombobulation after she received a merciless beatdown by a lady said to go by the name K Goddess.

Lynn, who came under fire for posting videos of herself mocking Nicki Minaj‘s performance at Monday night’s VMAs, was minding her own business today when she was attacked in front of friends and family…who weren’t aware that the incident was being streamed live on Instagram.

Migos nucleus Quavo has unleashed the cinematic video for new song ‘Workin Me.’

The track initially arrived last week as part of a trio of cuts the rapper released – presumably from a solo side project.

Self-directed, the visual sees Quavo dabble in a dangerous romance that has colossal consequences.

After much speculation, Nicki Minaj has confirmed that she is indeed delaying the Stateside leg of her ‘NICKIHNDRXX’ TOUR.‘

Together with an official statement issued by the promoter, the rapper took to social media to offer more personal insight into what the reason for the postponement is.

Donald Trump‘s supporters were left shaken (and stirred) yesterday when his lawyer Michael Cohen plead guilty to multiple counts of campaign finance violations, tax fraud, and bank fraud.

Worrying for Trump, as Cohen claims his campaign finance violations took place because the President asked him to carry them out. Worrying, because using campaign finances for anything other than its intended purpose is a serious crime.

Emmanuel Nii Adom Quaye, one of the stars of the Idris Elba-fronted movie ‘Beasts of No Nation‘ has revealed that he is homeless and has been begging for food and water.

Why? He is yet to receive the money he is owed for the important part he played in the movie.

Why? His representatives- who told him he’d be able to access his money when he turned 18- won’t tell him where said cash is stored.

Not even a collection of stage-blazing performances from the likes of Nicki Minaj, Jennifer Lopez, Ariana Grande, and more were enough to help this year’s MTV VMAs drum up some respectable viewership figures. After netting their lowest ratings ever with the 2017 showing (click here for details), the hopes were probably a bit higher for this year’s.

Preliminary figures revealed after the show’s first airing offered a bleak outlook, one confirmed by today’s final figures that indicate the 2018 edition of the MTV VMAs were their lowest rated in history.
