Fortunately for her, a never-before-heard story released by the rapper Eve has revealed that Minaj’s support (or lack thereof) of other female rappers may be a trait she picked up from Lil Kim.

I hate how Lil Kim set this precedent that established female rappers must always be threatened by Up-and-comers. Her insecurity has given all big femcees a bad reputation. They’re not all jealous and bitter like she was.

Mary J. Blige marks a week of celebration with the release of new song ‘Bounce Back 2.0.’

The empowering track, which arrives a day after the diva received a star on the Hollywood Walk Of Fame, sees MJB re-affirm her tried and true mantra of women overcoming the odds.

Arriving with the hashtag #TimesUp (which was a key component of Sunday night’s Golden Globes where she was nominated), the song is the first taste of new music from the Queen Of Hip-Hop/Soul since last year’s ‘Strength Of A Woman.’
