Patti Labelle joined forces with Lil’ Kim and Amber Riley to bring her hit ‘Lady Marmalade’ to life once more on the hit series ‘Dancing with the Stars.’
There, the trio celebrated the show’s undying success with a brand new version of the single more than a decade after Kim covered it alongside Pink, Mya, and Christina Aguilera for the ‘Moulin Rouge’ soundtrack.

The stage blazer, whose new album ‘Jackie’ drops May 4th, was the date of US footballer Russell Wilson at President Obama’s State Dinner for the President of Japan.

‘How To Get Away With Murder‘ player Viola Davis is to portray Harriet Tubman in a new HBO movie telling the story of the visionary’s life.
A new Harriet Tubman movie is set to come out on HBO, with Kirk Ellis writing, Doug Ellin producing and Steven Spielberg’s Amblin TV involved in the new project, as well. Oscar nominee and How to Get Away With Murder’s Viola Davis has been chosen (to play Tubman) for the project.
The movie is based on a book about Tubman’s life called, Bound for the Promised Land, written by historian Kate Clifford. The American hero was born a slave, escaped, then through the Underground Railroad, (secret passage ways through the forest and safe houses) she helped more like 300 slaves run their way to freedom in the safe North, and later fought in the Civil War on the Union’s side.
