With anticipation for Rihanna‘s new single ‘Diamonds’ surprisingly lukewarm, the model and her team have released its accompanying cover to drum up buzz ahead of its premiere on Wednesday.

We needn’t waste any time harping on about how cheap and tacky the shot looks. We simply hope for her sake the song is made of the shiny stuff itself, as she’s all but saturated her shallow market with these yearly albums and so-so singles.

A testament to the strength of her talent and material, Jessie J has been working her debut LP ‘Who You Are’ for the better part of 18 months. However, as the age old adage goes, all good things must come to an end. For this campaign, that end arrived last night at the iTunes Festival in London.

Backed by a full band, the Essex-bred powerhouse served up a titillating set of hits from the album as well as cuts from artists who’ve inspired her. This was preceded by a speech which saw her thank the thousands in attendance for supporting her journey, going on to inform them that this would be last time she’d support the project as a body of work as she’s set to start recording album #2.

After watching her performances, we literally can’t wait!

The last few days have been busy ones for ‘Blow Me (One Last Kiss)’ beauty Pink.  The Grammy winning hitmaker has seen her name afront many billings on this side of the pond in support of her forthcoming effort ‘The Truth About Love‘.

Landing on US shelves on September 18th, the 33-year old celebrated her birthday, kicked off Ellen‘s 10th season, hit up famed talk show ‘Alan Carr:  Chatty Man’, and delivered a high octane, 80 minute set for the 2012 iTunes Festival all in just the past week.
