Doja Cat‘s new album, ‘Scarlet,’ is already weaving quite the success narrative domestically and internationally.

Released Friday (September 22), the hitmaking rapper went to chart battle with the critically polarizing effort led by singles ‘Attention,’ ‘Demons,’ ‘Agora Hills,’ and the chart-topping ‘Paint the Town Red.’

Yet, despite not being greeted with the buzz of its history-making predecessor ‘Planet HER,’ ‘Scarlet’ is certainly being welcomed handsomely in some of the planet’s biggest sales markets.

After soaring to #1 on the Hot 100 with the Rick James-sampling ‘Super Freaky Girl,’ Rap Queen Nicki Minaj looks poised to repeat the feat thanks to another sample-buoyed bop: ‘Red Ruby Da Sleeze.’

The March 3-released cut, which famously features elements of Lumidee‘s early 2000’s hit ‘Never Leave You (Uh Oh),’ earned praise from the Rap diva’s fans for housing a gritty performance akin to what was found on her early mixtapes.

“Who the f**k told bitches they was me now? / I knew these bitches was slow, I ain’t know these bitches senile / Married a shooter case you ni**as tried to breathe loud,” she spit on the Go Grizzly & Cheeze Beatz-produced track.

Jetting to the top of real-time iTunes sales tallies shortly after its unveiling, the tune’s weeklong domination of digital hitlists not only led it to be the week’s top female Hot 100 debut (among all genres) but ‘Ruby’ also shines with Hip-Hop’s biggest opening of the year so far.

With moderate buzz (compared to its predecessors), ‘Trustfall‘ – the ninth studio album from P!nk – charged to chart battle on February 17.

Lifted to digital shelves on the heels of previously released singles ‘Never Gonna Not Dance Again’ and its title track, the project – her first studio effort since 2019’s ‘Hurts 2B Human’ – boasts 13 songs and guest appearances from The Lumineers, First Aid Kit, and Chris Stapleton.

Yet, despite managing to see only one single impact the Hot 100 (‘Never’ has peaked at #99 so far), reports of Apple Music and iTunes domination suggested the set is pacing toward making quite the splash on the Billboard 200 its first week.

Thanks to that commercial activity, industry analysts have announced their prediction of how sales and streaming will likely spell out for the Pop diva by the end of the LP’s inaugural sales period.
