With just a month separating her from the release of her third studio album ‘JHUD,’ you can definitely expect to see Grammy-winning songstress Jennifer Hudson in many-a-spotlight as the date draws nearer.

Already bringing her powerhouse vocals to the ‘Today Show’ (click here if you missed it), now word has it she’s joining the already jam-packed lineup at Fashion Rocks 2014.  Set to be presented during Mercedes Benz Fashion Week in New York, the Ryan Seacrest-hosted affair will air from Brooklyn’s Barclays Center on Sept. 9.

R&B chanteuse Ciara is wasting no time getting back to business.

The new mother has been hard at work on her new studio album, which will serve as the follow-up to last year’s self-titled LP.

And she’s enlisted hitmakers to shepherd the project – namely Rock City (who is an A&R’ing the as yet untitled set) and Pop maestro Dr. Luke. Super Ci has been stationed in the studio with the latter – cooking up what we’re hoping will be more winners. A consistent hit vendor, the Dr. has prescribed smashes for the likes of Katy Perry, Pink, Britney Spears, Rihanna, and more.

Former friends Elle Varner and K.Michelle have seen their currently volatile relationship thrown into the light today, after the latter took to ‘Hot 97’ to accuse Varner of stealing from her.

Hitting the outlet to promote her hotly anticipated TV musical, Michelle bared all when asked why she and Varner (with whom she shared a management team with) were no longer pals, revealing that the performer intentionally copied and released a cut she knew she had intended to release herself with the full backing of their managers.
