Answering a series of deeply personal and professional questions during the nearly hourlong chat, the GRAMMY winner spoke candidly about the mutual decision she and husband, Tim Witherspoon, came to cut professional ties and focus solely on their marriage.
As if that wasn’t enough, she also discussed at length money woes she suffered in the past trying to “keep up” a certain look. Taking to the platform, Rowland said:
“No one would believe this and actually this would be my first time talking about it, but I almost lost everything because I was so busy trying to keep up… Whether it was the look, whether it was the wardrobe, whether it was the car, whether it was the place… all of that silliness!”

It’s been over 20 years since Nia Long and Omar Epps shared leading screen time in 1999’s ‘In Too Deep,’ but now the veteran actors reunite for the highly anticipated Netflix film, ‘Fatal Affair.’
Directed by Peter Sullivan (who wrote the flick’s script alongside Rasheeda Garner), the movie is set to premiere on the streaming giant July 16.

After years of swirling rumors, singer August Alsina – via an interview with Angela Yee – has confirmed he had a love affair with Jada Pinkett Smith. As if that wasn’t enough to get tongues wagging, the 27-year-old singer says her Academy Award-nominated husband, Will Smith, allegedly gave the relationship his blessing.
In the interview (published June 30), Alsina said:
“I actually sat down with Will [Smith] and had a conversation due to the transformation from their marriage to life partnership … he gave me his blessing.”
Reportedly introduced to Pinkett, 48, in 2015 by her son Jaden, Alsina detailed how he and the actress became so close he fell in love with her.
“I totally gave myself to that relationship for years of my life, and I truly and really, really deeply love and have a ton of love for her. I devoted myself to it, I gave my full self to it — so much so to the point that I can die right now and be okay with knowing that I truly gave myself to somebody.”
