We can’t but raise our glasses to Pop titan Pink.

The ‘Blow Me’ singer, whose new album ‘The Truth About Love’ hits stores on September 18th, saw the LP’s campaign given a major boost today when it was announced that she is the new face of CoverGirl cosmetics.

Ellen Degeneres and Queen Latifah are some of the major names who’ve fronted the campaign previously, a fact which couldn’t make the 32 year old (real name Alecia Moore) any happier:

“Joining a group of women who have always inspired me — to laugh out loud, let my guard down, or play around with my beauty look — is such an honor. I have a lot to celebrate. I called my new album The Truth About Love, and the truth is that I have my beautiful family and baby girl, my new music and now my partnership with CoverGirl to love.”

So, before the release of its lead Max Martin produced single today saw the surfacing of the above promo snap- shot by creative mastermind Jake Bailey.

Showcasing the Pop Queen in a classic light, fans will reportedly catch the rest of the understated shoot in coming weeks. All this, as she shoots Season 3 of hit show ‘The Voice‘.

Featuring appearances by 2 Chainz and A$AP Rocky, the night also saw the ‘Practice’ maestro welcome Pop MC Nicki Minaj to the stage to perform their collaborative cut ‘Make Me Proud‘.

After burning bridges with almost every artist she has ever  engaged with, today saw Azealia Banks showcase some humility and apologize to ‘Gucci Gucci’ belle Kreayshawn.

This, some months after the latter was attacked by Ms. ‘212’ for tweeting a link to the song’s video posted on an adult website, prompting Banks to label the Rapper a ‘stupid b*tch’.

The claws are (still) out with Elton John versus Madonna.  The Queen of Pop has certainly found herself reigning atop pop legend Elton John‘s sh*tlist as the two have embattled in a nearly year-long feud.

While Madge has oft-played the silent card (unlike her persistent digs at pop princess Lady Gaga), John has been more than vocal about his distaste for the Material Girl.  Such distaste is displayed at maximum when the ‘Bennie & the Jets’ singer flew into a list of insults composed for the pop queen – even going so far as to calling her a ‘c*nt’ and saying ‘her career is over’.
