Indeed, after signing  ‘Fantasy Rider‘ Ciara  last year and X Factor alum Cher Lloyd this year,today saw confirmation of news that will have many a Pop enthusiast buzzing- to say the very least.

For, in what will serve as an added incentive for any wannabe vocalists hoping to join X Factor USA’s upcoming season, the exec has signed three of last year’s more promising acts.

It’s almost here!!

Yes, on February 14th Nicki Minaj will release her long awaited second album, ‘Pink Friday: Roman Reloaded’ ,and now- weeks ahead of its release- the artwork for its first official single surfaced today.

Named ‘Va Va Voom‘, the cut is expected to debut shortly,following the release of the videos for ‘Roman In Moscow‘ and ‘Stupid Hoe’.

2012 is gearing up to be a big year for a certain Ashanti Douglas.  Already inciting a bevy of buzz for her Busta Rhymes-assisted comeback single ‘The Woman You Love’, she is finding herself amid a highly anticipated return to radio and charts alike.  Undoubtedly hoping to make more of a statement on the tally than her latest LP ‘The Declaration’, Douglas has taken matters into her own hands with the creation of her own company Written Entertainment.

Unfortunately, recent years have seen a decline in the number of all female troupes on the charts, following the disbanding of Destiny’s Child, Girls Aloud and Danity Kane, to name just three.
