The legendary Whitney Houston looked a picture of beauty as she posed it up on the set of her new movie ‘Sparkle’, with actor Mike Epps.

Starring Jordin Sparks, the remake of the 1976 movie (loosely based on the story of The Supremes) is also being executively-produced by the ‘Million Dollar Bill’ singer.

With filming commencing in Detroit this week, it appears the diva jumped straight in with the singing scenes. What did those on set say about her much-debated vocals?

Day 26 are back! A feat of epic proportions given their Bad Boy humblings.

A member down and a no longer with the Diddy-helmed label, the group (who now call Atlantic Records home) are keen to show they can make a name beyond the ‘Making The Band’ moniker and without former bandmate Q.

New single ‘Made Love Lately’ is the vehicle the quad are hoping will mobilise their return to the charts. The Jim Beanz produced cut is also accompanies the group’s new reality webisode, the trailer for which you can check out after the jump – together with ‘Love Lately’.

The last few years have seen Lil Mama’s career center around everything but the music.

With Rihanna‘s vocals and stage presence lying in a hopeless place, it’s oft left to her image and visuals to compensate.

A trend continued well with the video for new single ‘We Found Love’. Indeed, the song may be another fast food hit (dripping grease and cheese in earnest), yet it also has the esteemed status of being That Grape Juice’s favourite Fenty video to date. Yes, we know, epic.

The X-Factor USA is here!

Fox’s much hyped British import has finally kicked off on American soil and looks set to be the biggest show of its kind.

Featuring judges Simon Cowell, Paula Abdul, LA Reid and Nicole Scherzinger, the show favours American Idol with its nationwide auditions. However, there is a defining twist in that groups and solo acts over 25’s are eligible to enter.

With this being the top 17, the narrowed down few are battling in the live show stage of the competition.
