Last night, boy band JLS surprised fans during a concert when they performed the song ‘Price Tag’, the smash hit single by Pop riot Jessie J.

Dressed in their trademark ‘matching but not matching’ fashions, the boys did their best to pay homage to the starlet during a set in the city of Hull.

Ever an advocate for the LGBT community, Pop megastar Lady GaGa took to the stage at Rome’s pro-freedom extravaganza ‘Europride’ this week. There, the purveyor of the paw rocked the house with live renditions of ‘Born This Way’ and ‘The Edge of Glory’. She also went on to give a speech at the event, which was held to speak up and out “against the Vatican and Silvio Berlusconi’s “backward” government”.

Katy Perry may very well be onto another Pop chart topper with her latest offering ‘Last Friday Night (T.G.I.F)’. The video for the Dr Luke produced cut surfaced today and is soaked in just enough quirky to to resonate with viewers. What’s more, it quite effortlessly fits the flow of the song. Lego-like.

Both advocates for the rainbow community, Lady GaGa and legendary Patti Labelle delighted the audience at the Boom Boom Room with an impromptu rendition of ‘Over The Rainbow’ earlier this week.

The private event, which was held in New York’s Standard Hotel immediately following the CFDA Awards, saw Labelle request the eccentric one’s presence on stage for a duet. 25 year old GaGa immediately obliged, joining the vocal powerhouse for what was a soaring rendition of the much loved classic.

An unlikely duo? Sure. A great performance? Damn right.
