One of the singer’s main inspirations, the legendary Grace Jones, apparently rejected an offer to do a collaboration with one of Pop music’s rising stars by saying the she’d rather work with “someone who is not copying” her style. One of music’s new ‘it’ girls, Nicki Minaj, has revealed some very interesting news to BET.  In what is probably a first in Hip-Hop, the ‘Massive Attack’ rapper has reportedly confessed to feeling guilty about her risque lyrics after realising that most of her fans are quite young. Rihanna unleashed the full force of her collection of leather outfits on thousands of fans when her ‘Last Girl On Earth Tour’ kicked off last evening. The first show, which was held in Antwerp, Belgium, featured the model performing many of her biggest hits including ‘Rude Boy’ and ‘Please Don’t Stop The Music’. Most interesting of the lot was the rendition of her new single, ‘Rockstar 101’, where she pretended to play the guitar almost as good as she pretends to be a singer. Pop phenomenon Lady GaGa has announced via her official Twitter account that she will be performing on ‘American Idol’. The singer will most likely perform her new song, ‘Alejandro’, which has thus far peaked at #50 on the Billboard Hot 100. GaGa hits the ‘Idol’ stage on May 5th.

In a recent interview with Hot Hits 957 Radio, Christina Aguilera revealed that she is currently planning to go on a world tour. The venture, which is set to kick off in July, will feature performances from the singer in the US, Europe, Asia and Australia. This will be the first time that Aguilera has gone on tour since her ‘Back to Basics Tour’ which ended in 2007. Aguilera’s new album, ‘Bionic’, hits stores on June 8th. {Source}

TV show ‘Glee’ has taken the entertainment world by storm, becoming an instant global hit in. Now the comedy-drama is set to further expand its audience with a special ‘Madonna’ themed episode, which airs on April 20th.

The cast’s version of Madge’s 2008 smash ‘4 Minutes’ surfaced ahead of the episode’s première, and dare I say, it’s actually on-par (if not better) than the original. Amber Riley who plays Mercedes (pictured second from left) was getting it with those adlibs and runs at the end. Good stuff.

While discussing the launch her tour with fellow ‘it’ girl Rihanna and her views on Nicki Minaj’s departure from the venture, Ke$ha offered the singer some rather peculiar praise for the Bajan model.
