Jay-Z and wife Beyonce were invited to The White House during their recent stay in Washington, D.C (for the rapper’s Blueprint 3 tour). The couple also brought along Beyonce’s mother Tina Knowles, as well as Jay’s tour support Trey Songz, who attended with his manager Kevin Liles. Though President Obama was not photographed, the group did indeed meet the inspirational leader.

I actually rather enjoyed Ms. Fenty’s performance. Yes, her vocals (as always) were compromised so as for her to actually move around on stage. Yet it’s hard to deny that her swagger was in full-effect (however unjustified it is) and the stage set-up (cheeky robots inclusive) was a nice touch too. Not bad…

Further fuelling the anticipation for her ‘Telephone’ video, the incomparable Lady GaGa posted the above picture from the vid on her Twitter page a few moments ago.

The shot was accompanied by the words: “RING RING its coming little monsters”, seemingly referring to the March 8th premiere of the Beyonce-assisted clip.

Rising star Jason Derulo stopped by The Ellen Degeneres Show to perform current single ‘In My Head’. Check out how the 20 year old fared above…

Hmm. Though not bad, the Warner Records artist has some way to go before he can even begin to be held in the same regard as the Chris Brown’s and Usher’s he has been prematurely compared to. Still, it appears he may just be afforded the timeline to do so; ‘In My Head’ currently sits at #9 on the Billboard 100, while Derulo’s self-titled debut is set to debut at #2 on the Billboard 200 next week.

Universal Motown’s latest signee Kelly Rowland is currently on a whirlwind promotional tour of Australia. The singer, who is set to headline Sydney’s biggest annual Mardi Gras Party this Saturday (March 6th),  looked stunning at the Mardi Gras Media Call earlier today (pics above and below). Work!

The official trailer for TLC’ star Chilli‘s new reality show, ‘What Chilli Wants’, surfaced today. After initially being rather sceptical about the VH1 show (which debuts April 11th), I must say I will definitely be tuning in after watching the trailer (courtesy of our good friend Necole Bitchie). International mover and shaker Kelly Rowland is currently in Australia for a series of promotional performances, the most recent being on morning show ‘Sunrise’ yesterday. Peep Ms. Kelly’s performance of ‘When Love Takes Over’ above…

Granted I’m gonna need to start seeing her perform new material ASAP, this was a great performance.  Vocally, one of her best with this particular song. Powerful, confident, and controlled, the Destiny’s Child alumni’s voice was on its ‘A’ game here. Should she bring these vocals to the live showings of her new material (which I’m sure she will), Ms. Kelly will shock many – in the right way. Roll on the April debut of her new single!

Energetic performer Chris Brown is ready to hit the road once again to support his ‘Graffiti’ album. This time, however, the singer will be giving his international fans a chance to see him perform music from the LP. Brown will be embarking on the 20-show ‘Fan Appreciation Tour’ which will see him making stops in places such as Brazil, Malaysia, Ireland and the UK. The US leg of the tour, which was held from November to December last year, was almost completely sold out. Check out his list of tour dates below:
