For the second time in her career (following 2016’s ‘Lemonade’), Beyonce – thanks to her July 29-released album ‘Renaissance‘ – sent every song from one studio project to a rung on the Billboard Hot 100.

The same week the 16-track effort landed at #1 on the Billboard 200 with the largest first-week sales of any female act this year, its lead single, ‘Break My Soul,’ mirrored its success on the Hot 100 by blasting to its top position.

Its appearance at the pole position isn’t the only top 20 success the diva’s celebrating this week, however.  More inside:

Following the critical acclaim attached to the June-released ‘Skin of My Teeth,’ singer Demi Lovato doubled down on the return to their Punk Rock roots with the tune’s official follow-up, ‘Substance.’

Both songs are slated to appear on Lovato’s forthcoming album ‘HOLY FVCK,’ due on digital shelves August 19.

“I’m so excited to share another taste of what’s in store for this album. We can all relate to searching for something more in life, and I want this song to make you feel like you’re having a damn good time while doing it,” the GRAMMY nominee beamed about the July 15-unveiled ‘Substance.’

Like ‘Skin’ before it, ‘Substance’ missed the Hot 100 but has made its presence felt in the top 40 of the Billboard Rock charts (#37 as of time reported).

In an effort to boost the tune’s performance, Demi’s unlocked a behind the scenes look at its accompanying music video.  Hop inside to see the Cody Critcheloe-directed action.

The singer-actress sparkles on the cover of Variety Magazine‘s latest issue.

Beyond posing it up for the accompanying Greg Swales lensed shoot, the 21-year-old opened up about playing the lead of Ariel in Disney’s live-action remake of ‘The Little Mermaid,’ the racist comments hurled at her after landing the role, and new music – both solo and by way of Chloe x Halle.

Legendary boxer Mike Tyson isn’t afraid to show off his fighting skills in- and outside of the ring.

The 56-year-old, reportedly hard at work creating his biographical film (in which Academy Award winner Jamie Foxx will assume the leading role), is doubling down on slamming Hulu for creating a biographical mini-series without his blessing.

At the time of the streamer’s announcement (February 2021), Tyson released a lengthy statement to voice disapproval.

“[The announcement of this series] on the heels of social disparities in our country is a prime example of how Hulu’s corporate greed led to this tone-deaf cultural misappropriation of my life story. To make this announcement during Black History Month only confirms Hulu’s concern for dollars over respect for Black story rights,” his statement read. “Hollywood needs to be more sensitive to Black experiences especially after all that has transpired in 2020. My authorized story is in development…”

This week, he reiterated the sentiment.  Look inside to see what he said.

Thanks to drama related to a homophobic rant in 2021, DaBaby found himself high atop the cancellation list of a number of festivals, brand endorsements, and more.

On a continued mission to prove his resilience, the rapper (born Jonathan Kirk) has delivered a new song titled ‘Tough Skin’ alongside an eye-popping music video.

Reportedly the first taste of new music from his forthcoming body of work ‘Baby on Baby 2,’ the tune’s accompanying clip sees Kirk get crucified like Christ while rapping about the events of his life that toughened him.

“…I watched my mama have some tough skin / It’s why I take my problems and leave ’em tucked in / ‘Cause the world don’t care nothin’ ’bout ‘еm / I don’t give a f*ck then, yeah, this that tough skin,” he raps on the J. Stacks-produced cut.
