Ne-Yo may have seen his inaugural Country album ‘Highway 79‘ ride right into critical acclaim for its innovative mix of Country, R&B, and Pop, but the serial hitmaker still managed to miss the Billboard 200 with its debut – a career-first for him.

With hopes of turning its success narrative around, the celebrated singer-songwriter is shining another spotlight on some of the LP’s content: namely the fan-favorite single ‘Dance Right Now.’

“We could waste time on all that we don’t know / Or we could dance right now / And worry about the rest after the bar shuts down / I think it might be best if we just / Skip all the details we don’t need to figure out,” he sings on the Daniel Breland-co-penned track.

Ari Lennox kicked off 2026 by delivering one of the year’s most critically acclaimed R&B efforts – her third album ‘Vacancy.’

And though the opus earned thumbs-up aplenty from industry tastemakers and fans alike, the sales didn’t exactly mirror that fanfare – a feat echoed by the project’s #172 peak on the Billboard 200 (her lowest to date).

As rumors swirl she’s set to give the LP a second swing at bat via a reported forthcoming deluxe edition, Lennox took to social media this week to at least confirm the arrival of new song ‘Hookah Baby.’

“My girls shakin’ a– and we all outside / All on ten / Tellin’ everyone that I leave in five / I’m lying, I lied / I might good night, I might just slide / Said pass the hookah, baby,” she wails on the vibey new track.

While we wait on confirmed news about the official home for ‘Hookah,’ look inside to get acquainted with the new song in full.
