The Big Game is almost here!
And while the match is one topic, it’s this year’s commercials that are a hot topic. Easily, Coca-Cola‘s serves as our favourite of the bunch.
The interactive campaign pits a familar cast of characters—the Cowboys, Badlanders and Showgirls— against each other, with each battling it out (desert-style) to win the ice-cold refreshment.
Fans get to decide, in real-time, who wins, with the winning “finish” being screened as the concluding part of Coke’s Big Game ad. Cool, right?
As relayed, That Grape Juice have already cast our vote for the Cowboys; and with voting ending tomorrow (February 3rd 2013), be sure to…

‘I Am Your Woman’, ‘Tonight I’m Gonna Let Go’, and ‘Guess What’ are just a few of the titles that have wooed fans of soulstress Syleena Johnson into a decade long love affair with her music.
Yes, her run on TV One’s top rated reality series ‘R&B Divas’ may have introduced her to new audiences, but real R&B lovers are no stranger to the soaring vocals she’s lent in years past to her own hits and collaborations with some of music’s heaviest hitters, from R. Kelly to Kanye West.
Now, ready to recarve her own path along music’s landscape, the Grammy-nominated songstress chats exclusively with That Grape Juice to dish on rumors of new ‘Divas’ cast members, working on three albums, and her highly anticipated workout DVD and forthcoming bootcamp (Saturday, February 2nd in Atlanta).
She bragged about ‘bringing the heat’, but if this interview is anything to go by, Miss Johnson is just warming up…
Syleena Johnson Shouts Out That Grape Juice!!
He’s the creative genius behind 50 Cent‘s ‘My Life’ and The Throne‘s ‘Murder To Excellence’, but for Pop lovers- it’s Beyonce‘s ‘Best Thing I Never Had‘ that Symbolyc One may be most renown for.
Only right then, that as the ‘Satelites’ singer readies the release of her fifth studio album, One stands as one of the many producers reported to have signed on to help craft it.
Now peep what he had to say on the matter in an exclusive interview with That Grape Juice. Net below!
As earlier reported, Rihanna features in the March issue of Rolling Stone magazine. And while her cover shoot is making headlines, her interview inside is set to make many more.
For, with her new album ‘Unapologetic’ under-performing (selling in three months what her rivals sell first week), the model has reached into her trusty bag of tricks to ignite interest.
However, this time the Bajan beauty dug that much deeper – opening all the way up about her rekindled relationship with Chris Brown. So willing to discuss the romance, which she sings is ‘Nobody’s Business’, she spent most of the interview talking about it.
See what we mean below…
After warming up the masses with promotional singles ‘Sorry’ and ‘Got Me Good’ last Fall, Ciara is putting the finishing touches to her eagerly awaited fifth album, ‘One Woman Army’.
Due later this year, the project was formally “introduced” to European taste-makers last week by the singer herself. As such, ever keen to ask the questions you really want answers to, we caught up with the stage blazer during her London run with Livebase.
Watch above as the coy star talks the LP’s status, making “Ghetto Pop” music, having “tonnes of love for Beyonce”, and more.
Enjoy.
‘Should Be You’.
‘Cracks In Mr. Perfect’
‘Let Me Love You’.
For fans of R&B royal Ne-Yo, the above stand as just three of the strongest songs pulled from his new album, ‘R.E.D’.
However, despite heralded as one of 2012’s strongest releases critically, its slow burning sales have seen mark one of his lowest selling projects to date, following the success of 2008’s ‘Year Of The Gentlemen‘, which was certified Platinum in the US and 2x Platinum in the UK.
Now, in an exclusive interview with That Grape Juice.Net, the Compound mogul has opened up on the LP, before he embarks on his sold out UK arena tour this March.

Peep these pics snapped in Manchester, UK last night- taken at the first night of Rita Ora‘s long awaited ‘Radioactive Tour’.
Kicking off at the Manchester Academy, last night’s showing saw her wow fans with live renditions of songs pulled from her UK debut, ‘ORA‘- responsible for the 2x Platinum single, ‘How We Do‘.

Annually, the Big Game sees many a major brand premiere movie-like commercials. This year is no different, with Coca-Cola‘s ad serving as our favourite to date!

This week’s That Grape Juice ‘Cover Star‘ comes from the R&B/pop stylings of Youtube sensation Travis Garland. Watch as the Texas talent takes on the task of Ne-Yo‘s top 10 smash ‘Let Me Love You’ below:
Garland was nothing short of great! With vocals uncannily reminiscent of Ne-Yo (and Justin Timberlake in parts), Garland lends a performance that could easily run side by side with some of today’s top crooners.
It’s refreshing gifts like his that gives us some hope that real talent will one day make its return to radio. Because, without doubt, this kid has it.

Nicki Minaj hopped back on ‘American Idol’s promo train last night when took to ‘Jimmy Kimmel Live‘ for an upbeat interview on the series.
However, as you’ll see below, it was her performances on the show that served as the true highlight of her appearance. For, perhaps in realizing its potential as smash, the Rapper performed her British hit ‘Va Va Voom’ for the very first time on US television, followed by a rousing serving of ‘Freedom‘.
Unfortunately, while ‘Voom’s performance worked on an arrangement and ‘energy’ tip, it failed to wow when it came to her own styling, ‘backing track dependent’ vocals and ‘choreography’. Choreography that lacked the feminine sass we met in ‘5 Star Chick’ and that this performance desperately needed.

Well it looks like ‘Real Housewives of Atlanta’ star Kandi Burruss shouldn’t expect a wedding gift from rapper Bow Wow, if his recent comments are anything to go by.
For, as fans know, hip hop producer extraordinaire Jermaine Dupri is set to be honored in his native Atlanta for two decades worth of contributions to the music industry via his ‘So So Def’ imprint.
While many of the roster’s occupants appeared to have jumped at the opportunity to honor their mentor at the ‘So So Def All-Star Anniversary Concert‘, a certain former Xscape member appeared to have other plans – namely launching her own ‘Ladies Night’ tour.
News of such sent Bow Wow on a Facebook rant – one that saw him label Burruss as ‘wack’ (amongst other things) for her expected absence. See his fiery quote below:
