Hot Shot: Sade’s Album Cover
The official cover of Sade’s new album has been revealed. The LP, entitled ‘Soldier of Love’, is her first studio release in nine years. The project will be released via Epic Records on February 8th 2010.
Classic. Diva. Icon. I cannot express how much I have missed Sade’s smokey contralto. It’s a rare faculty for a singer to command such refined passion and sensuality with her voice. To avoid becoming captured by the rapture of her tones is almost an impossibility. I am certain that the advocates of true Adult Contemporary R&B are beyond excited for February to come around and I am too!

Sade is a band. It’s not just one person. Helen Folassade Adu is the lead singer and face of the band. A REAL Sade fan would know this, so why is the album credited to “her” instead of the band? Please show respect for all the band members in this GROUP.

I have followed Sade since the 90’s and she is someone that stands alone. He music is at a whole different level that no one else can touch and i love that.

i know sade is a band, but i am sure other people don’t. But though it is a band. Ms. Adu herself is known as Sade because everyone concentrates on her voice. There has been no one out there with a voice like hers that has succeeded. I am pretty sure if she performed with a band other than sade she would still be a hit (though I know that the band obviously has its own chemistry) because her voice and not necessarily the band that is playing (though that sax man was the shit) was what was noticed. That is why the cover only features her beautiful self. And children today have no clue what they are missing. This is one bad woman right here. She is sooooo beautiful.
