Mariah Performs ‘H.A.T.E U’ On Letterman

Diva Mariah Carey continues to promote her ‘Memoirs of an Imperfect Angel’, earlier this week stopping by the Late Show With David Laterman for a chat (about the album, ‘Precious’ and Eminem) and to perform new single ‘H.A.T.E U’.     “Are you selling M&M’s”, god she’s so full of crap, but it’s cute lol. I would respect her so much more if she actually admitted that the song is indeed about Eminem, but whatever. It’s Mariah, so yeah.

    Lol! I love how when Mariah gives an “okay” performance Sam goes on an 8 paragraph tantrum about how she’s tarnishing her legacy and her voice is gone, but when she gives a truly great performance he only says “great interview, great performance”! Lol! Whatevs! Anyhoooo, glad to see MC out there performing and promoting the album! Listening to “HATE U” as we speak!

    There were some note issues there- missed and crack but otherwise ok- still she has to do more than just stand there and make those painful looking facial expressions.

    Ay finally she gave a wonderful performance to a wonderful song. She did not let me down with this one. Perfect.

    I think the performance was terrible. Just because she can hit a high note does not mean the performance was good. SORRY…. The way she sounded when she sang in her lower register was just God-awful. She didn’t seem confident, and it showed. Seriously stop confusing the fact that Mariah and hit notes with good performances, because this was clearly not.

    She sounded almost exactly like the recorded version. this was a good performance. F**k anybody who says she’s over. She can still outsing just about every other chick out there. I agree though, her stage presence needs to improve. She needs to work all areas of the stage like she used to. Stop wearing constricting clothing. But anyway, she’s been doing good with her live performances lately.
