Pop royalty Janet Jackson stopped by The Today Show a few moments ago to promote her new movie ‘Why Did I Get Married Too’, along with the film’s driving force Tyler Perry. Check out their interview above…
Pretty standard-fare interview; that said, I can’t wait to see the film! Few folks know, but Janet actually filmed ALL of her parts after the passing of her brother Michael, so we can expect an authentic emotionally-charged performance from the 43 year old.
Tidbit: Janet seems to be ageing backwards. She looks amazing!

Janet has never capitalize off MJ phenomenal career, in fact she has always done things the polar opposite of her brother. And to say that she is capitalizing off MJ death, is an insult. She was filming the movie, when he passed suddenly, so she flew back to L.A. to be with the family and mourn. 2nd. She has been in films and t.v. series before his death. From Good Times, Fame, Different Strokes. Her music career skyrocketed before MJ died. Prior to MJ death Janet had already sold 150 million records, broke records, sold out concerts. So, how is she capitalizing off MJ’s death? Janet is an icon. So, if people want to ask her about her brother, or if she feels the need to talk about HER BROTHER, than so be it. Just like Janet said at the Soul Train Awards, To you, Michael was family, but to us he was family. In other words, he was there blood, not ours, people really need to stop acting like MJ belong to us, we are just fans, we didn’t own him, nor knew the real MJ, we knew the pop singer image. People kill me always going hard on MJ family and friends, like MJ was a brother to them.
