Fantasia has finally set an official release date for new album. The LP, which remains untitled, will hit stores on July 13th. The project will be preceded by her new single, ‘Bittersweet’, which impacts radio on May 10th. First, thanks for posting this information. BUT Fantasia and the crew – PLEASE do NOT come out with Bittersweet as a single. It is great and helps people who are going through a struggle to understand. However, this is Fantasia’s first single in over 2 years and she should have an uptempo song. (i.e. Ex-You, Move on Me). What is going on with all the inspirational music and oldie’s genre you have Fantasia in? Please rethink the single! You want her to come out with a BANG – so we can have something to “move” to in the summer!
I thought Even Angels was a better single choice, but Bittersweet is a better song overall. Hopefully she gets great promotion this time around..
I’m with you Dee Bittersweet is boring and it’s sad that every song that leaked from the upcoming album that I’ve heard so far is a banger except this one. I do like “Move on me” better (if that’s the song from the show that Fantasia was wishing would get released first). Her record label is setting her up for failure if they don’t have a change of mind. I like Man of the house too! C’mon ya’ll!

I believe any song you promote well can become a hit if you keep it in people’s face. Some black folk miss R&B as well as out girl Tasia so when she does come out we will support IN MASSES. Hood Boi was young and fun but it came out around the winter time. Sometimes the singles you put out have to reflect what people are feeling and the seasons. So maybe an uptempo would be cute and save a midtempo/ballad for fall or winter and then you will see all the nominations roll in.

I really hope all the songs we seen on her show are on the album. I also hope that her album is not just a whole bunch of Free yourselfs and Bittersweets because that’s just kind of boring. I want Ex You, Worst Part is Over, Cant Be Without You, Doin Me. Those songs are HOTTTT!
