Pop icon Janet Jackson flashes her trademark grin in this new promotional shot for fur firm Blackglama. As ever she looks stunning, as does her new ‘do.
The 44 year old superstar has signed on as the face of the company’s ‘What Becomes A Legend Most?’ advertising campaign, which is set to debut in September, and will feature in (among others) Vanity Fair, Vogue and Harper’s Bazaar. What’s more, Jackson’s Blackglama ad will be erected as a prominent Billboard (in two major locations) to overlook New York’s famed Times Square!
You can also check out a behind the scenes video of the ‘Feedback’ singer being photographed for the campaign below. Noted photographer Rocco Laspata snapped Jackson in New York following her show-stopping American Idol appearance…

That’s my girl. Looking fabulous! I really gotta say this. If we keep this promotional engine going, and by the looks of it, its not stopping anytime soon, Ms. J is going to need to get back in the studio and get a new album PRONTO! And a GREAT one at that! Not only will she need to step it up a bit to capture the minds, imagination, love and dedication of her late brother’s fan base (any good label/manager should be thinking the same thing!) but if I know Jan, the last few albums have been her most relaxed in years. But with the world finally behind her again, I think it’s time for Jan to make it POP, glitter, and dazzle for this next one. Lets get back to concept and storyline, and bring the stage back to life (as where ticket sales are showing, people are just not that interested in LIVE shows to go and shell out almost 200 bucks per seat) and show the world that JANET JACKSON IS A LEGEND! xxo

why is it when janet does photo’s u say “stunning” but when madonna does them u say “photoshop”. That sounds very very RACIST to me. Janet looks JUST as old and haggardly as Madonna…yet the black woman gets the praise of “stunning” …..*side-eye*. I’m really starting to question the character behind this site.

@ Beysbetter, you have to be kidding? Madonna has taken a few really nice photos lately. I can’t remember for which magazine it was, but it was nice. She is much older than Janet(8years actually) and in all honesty before the complete makeover (after the plastic surgery when her “Evita” era wrapped ) her appearance was quite homely. She looked pretty dried up. If surgery was required(facelift) to enhance her beauty, I doubt she would have any objection to being photoshopped or that it wouldn’t be necessary with her being at an disadvantage.
