Michael Jackson’s long-awaited new song has finally been released. ‘Breaking News’ will be featured on his new album, ‘Michael’, which will touch down on December 14th. Give it a listen below:

I must admit that, now that the song has surfaced in full, I agree with Jackson’s family who say that it may not be him singing. Yes he has performed several song in his lower register before (see ‘Dangerous’) and we have not heard new material for him in quite some time but this really does sound like someone doing their best impersonation of the King of Pop. The only parts of the song that sound like Jackson are the high notes but those could have been implanted from any of his older records via studio mechanics.
Still, I did enjoy the string section in the production (although the entire song sounds incredibly dated). If only Jackson was alive to create a video for this track it could have been something special.

After listening to it I dont believe that this is him, michael recorded material over the last few years that has been leaked and he sounds the same, there was a track with lenny kravitz that was leaked and no doubt it was michael plus a snippet called A Place Without No Name and Hold My Hand with Akon and the re done songs he did for Thriller 25 the verses sound like an imposter trying really hard to sound like Mic its disgusting
its him…..and for a few reasons…
a reputable company like Sony would not risk their reputation by faking the King of Pops vocals because the person who faked those vocals can at anytime speak to the public and literally blackmail sony Music into paying him millions and millions of dollars for the rest of his life.
Sony Records may realise their is a profit in this but I can guarantee the risk isnt worth it because I doubt this album is gonna rock over 3 million copies sold.
A revelation of fake vocals could damage and destroy Sony music FOREVER!!!!!!!

I don’t think this is MJ at all. Sony is up to no good! It’s so many wicked people behind this and I truly believe that the only reason their building back up his image is to profit off of him. He’s worth more dead than alive and he’s an asset to the label now. I hope someone speaks up about this matter in the Jackson clan, because this is unacceptable. MJ would never repeatedly sing his name in a song, over and over – it’s something about it that sounds a bit egotistical. MJ was a very humble man. I’ll admit I didn’t follow his career in and out, but I really doubt that’s his voice! It threw me for a loop after listening for the first minute.

The production sounds almost EXACTLY the same as the song ‘Dangerous’! But there are definitely Mike. Especially during the chorus. But I think Mike never finished the song, or some parts weren’t good, so they hired someone else to finish it. Sounds like they hired Jason Malachi.
The most unimpressive thing about this track is the producer. With all the great technology the track could have been better. It sounds like a record that didn’t make the HISTORY cd. If my name was on it I would’ve went back and took that sh*t to another stratosphere. We’re talking about the great Michael Jackson. You gotta do his name and yourself justice.

I don’t know if this is Michael or not, but I don know that I wouldn’t have given it a second thought had his Mom and company not brought it up. It’s a cool song though, but the end doesn’t sound like him.

Here’s the thing, MJ sings hard and whoever this is is tryin to me. I mean, his voice has changed some over the years, but something about this sounds slightly off. And not to mention the ad libs are really low. MJ’s ad libs are never low (meaning the volume); they are always loud. Secondly, the harmonies are off too. I know Jackson harmonies and those weren’t it.

Yes I have heard 2000 watts from his invincible album (which I have 4 copies of) and still that is not him singing this Breaking News track. MJ has THE most distinctive, unique, unmistakeable, and unmatchable tone in this whole damn industry. He is an amazing artist and can change his voice to various pitch levels and tones but he still has power in his voice and this guy is absolutely weak. He couldn’t even do the world-famous “hee-hee-hee” correctly. I am a colossal MJ fanatic and I can assure you that this guy singing this song is NOT MJ.

Even the King MJ’s unmastered demo songs were amazing. They sound like finished products and his voice would not be crackin and s*** all over the song. MJ was a perfectionist and if this were supposed to be a final version he wouldn’t even let it go out. The difference between MJ and today’s average artist is that MJ REALLY cared about his music and his fans. He would never release “anything” or “something” just for notariety or so you can have something to listen to. Music was what he was born to do and he never would half step like this low-grade song.

I know Michael Jacksons voice better then I know people in my own family.. and that my friends is clearly NOT MICHAEL JACKSON! Even if it were, michael may very well have laid down some vocals over the last few years but to unfinished, not produced tracks. Therfore, a Michael Jackson song doesnt begin and end with his vocals.. he produced, arranged and perfected every part of every single song he ever released and now that he is no longer here to do that, if Sony or whoever else does find REAL CREDIBLE MJ vocals, it will be them who have to complete the song and not MJ.. which means it is not a michael jackson song!!! I mean, people dont get it.. its not like britney spears who records some vocals and goes home for 2 weeks and waits until the studio lets her know that the track is completed and so she can listen to it… NO!! Michael Jackson made and obsessed over every aspect of his music from background vocals, even to things that are in the deep background of a song like vocal hiccups and pops etc… to which this new song “breaking news” includes none of! It does include however, a heap of male and female background vocals from some randoms… god knows who they brought in to do all this crap but they sure got a payday and signed a contract to keep quiet dont you worry about that! And whoever sings the MJ part did a medicore job at best.. I mean, any impersonator knows how to pull of a “hee hee hee” perfectly and that was terrible! Not to mention the song sounds dated to hell…MJ was not moving backward musically, he clearly was moving forward which is why he was getting Akon, Will i Am etc to produce tracks with… they think they know what he would have done and they were wrong.. trying to fool fans of Michaels will not work Sony! And i dont doubt that this Cascio guy had a hand in this too..anyone will do ANYTHING for the right amount! They have had ALOT of time to get this track right… from June 25th of O9 and to be totally honest… they have failed misrably. Now i am not going to say i dont believe any of the songs on this new album are MJ’s becuase i havent heard them yet but i will make my own judgements when i do. And for those of you who do think this is michaels all i can say is you guys are SOOOOO lucky because i would LOVE to live in a world where Michael Jackson is releasing new music to the public… except for one thing…… Michael Jackson passed away on June 25th 2009. His last album was and always will be as sad as it is for me to say because that was nearly 10 years ago…. Invincible.
P.S – really listen to the voice who is singing about writing the obituary and if you still think that that is Michael Jackson….. then, i guess you need to have your hearing checked out! sorry!
I’ve been listening to the King of Pop for almost 30 years. I doubt that’s Michael’s voice. Maybe Sony used technologically advanced machines to add some old audio clips onto this new song. Cool rhythm but definitely not his voice. It’s gonna be a ripped off from Sony Music. They just wanna milk Michael to the maximum velocity. Let the King rest in peace. Cheers!
Did anyone of you notice the illustration art on the album’s cover? Just take a look at all Michael images at the background, they don’t even look like him. I think Sony can find a better artist to do the paintings. Even the Dangerous album’s cover art is much, much more better. Cheers!

Thats right DOMINIC.. it is not Michael Jackson singing the vocals on this track! Nor was any of the production done by Michael, something we he always has full and final say over. I and every other true MJ fan across the world realized this after hearing the first few lines which came out of the impersonators mouth! We do believe it is Jason Malachi, who has been impersonating MJ for quite awhile and does an okay job of it, however, not good enough to disguise the truth from us fans. We also know that Sony, who have cunningly tried to manipulate MJ fans to make big dollars have hidden the shady vocals under over the top background vocals (both male and female) and an extremely outdated pop hit. Also MJ would never sing his name like that in a track, nor would he make a fast track without his trademark ad-libs, vocal hiccups, pops and background beatsbox’s which he does himself. (something which u only hears when paying very close attention to to background layers of MJ’s faster songs.. It is also a rip off of Tabloid Junkie!! How can Sony call a song which Michael Jackson doesnt sing on, had no control or knowledge of the production the music.. Nothing… How can they release it as a new MJ track? Well… because they know that theres big money to be made and they will do whatever it takes to make it!!! Also Jason Malachi closed down his Youtube account just recently and is nowhere to be found… He would have been paid HUGE dollars to not only sing on the track, but then to keep quiet about it as well.
