I have alot of respect for Usher, but what is he trying to prove? The dancing is solid, but please don’t forget about having decent vocals. I think he’s trying to keep up with Breezy when he’s the guy closer to legendary status. I’m all for incorporating great choreo in your work, but I think he should really turn it up for every 2 or 3 songs. If he works on having balance – he’ll be fine.
I hope he gets a haircut too!

He did good. I which he focused more on vocals too. But, well… he’s putting on a show. I’m happy he’s putting a hell of a show. Look @ CB, he does great dancing, but his vocals are blah. At least Usher is trying to do something with both. It’s either you have great dancing, & ok vocals. Good dancing & great vocals. Kinda like Beyonce, she has ok/good dancing, & great vocals. Somewhere you gone have to do a little sacrificing. His show is a hell of a lot better than watching Rihanna try to perform, so people better be happy for that, lol.

Chris can perform and sing at the same time. Usher can aswell but now he always sounds out of breath and tired when he sings and dances. MJ would perfer Chris to do a tribute to him them Usher a person who is always out of breath and look like he’s counting his steps as he dances.

did you see usher concert this summer in Jamaica and Chris show in Jamaica? Ask the Jamaicans who had the best show and most of them sad Chris show was better and they cheer Chris on more at Usher concert. Bet did poll on who remind them of Michael Jackson, Usher, Neyo , Chris. The resulted Chris at 47% and Usher 34%. I liked Usher old songs but can not perform better than Chris. Why you think in XXL magazine they ask Usher is he afraid of the competition with Chris , and he said no as long as the young artist respect that I paved the way for them. Usher ask Trey songz to go his tour is because Trey isn’t a threat to him. But Chris is an all around entertainer and could show Usher up on the stage. Usher is a good singer and do some good Michael jackson moves but Chris could kill him on the stage.

actually you are wrong. I am Usher age 35. I think Chris brown is a way better performer than Usher. To say he has no stage presense is crazy. All Usher does is Michael Jackson moves and that is what he always did in the past. Chris dance street,professionally and freestyle. Only reason you say Chris can’t sing is because his voice is high.,But he can sing. Michael Jackson had an high tone voice. Usher voice is deeper and more urban.
On another note. Chris did one of the best Michael Jackson performance ever,not Usher. They barely talked about Usher performance last year. Even mainstream said its one of the best performances they seen.

Why does every one always bring in accolades when comparing two artists? The fact that Usher has more accolades does not make him better than Chris Brown (and this is coming from a fan of Usher).
This is for Zana &.. whatever the other person was:
1.) DANCING… Chris Brown and Usher are both great at dancing, but you must recognize they have different styles. It is like comparing a ballet dancer to a break dancer. Both are skilled at their OWN craft. Chris Brown is also a decade younger than Usher — so for you to say his style is more street dancing, you are incorrect. BOTH were street dancers — Usher breakdanced too. The difference is, Usher grew up in the 80s when breakdancing was comprised of the backslide (AKA the Moonwalk), gliding, & pop and locking. Street dance for Chris Brown’s generation is energetic crumping and jumping around. If Usher was a 20 something year old in 2010, then he too would more than likely do the same. Use common sense and logic — we are all products of OUR specific culture, environment, and TRENDS.
2.) SINGING… If you bothered to watch the above clip which was snippets of performances, you will note that he was singing live while doing intense and intricate choreography. His show is also 2.5 hours. He was not ‘out of breath’ during these small snippets, and the only parts in which he did not sing was the chorus which again is custom for a singer to renege on b/c the backing track or background singers answer this. Chris Brown likewise appears out of breath when he performs as well — ALSO understandable due to the level of energy his dancing takes. But even then, I’ve seen his performances and while I have enjoyed them, he has not yet perfected being able to sing and dance simultaneously on the same level of Usher. I expect he will learn that with practice. This is not saying one singer is better than the other, but refuting your claim that Usher “always sounds out of breath”.
It is okay to like one artist better than another or over another. But I do not understand the point in having to denounce one artist to uplift another. For a 35 year old, that seems mighty petty! If you think Chris Brown is better than Usher, more power to you… Why come in and view Usher’s performances? Go watch a Chris Brown one.
@Truth Serum Thank you, that is exactly what i was about to say. No disrespect to chris but he really hasn’t done anything in his career if you really look at it. Chris has had two well received albums so how can you compare ppl who are on totally different paths in their careers.
