It’s their way of saying she’s a poor man’s version of their fave. In a sense it IS a contradiction, and then in another sense it isn’t. It would however be only completely contradictory if it were Nicki fans saying Kim sucks and at the same time admitting she’s heavily influenced by Kim.

This is probably her best if not one of her better performances, she was more comfortable, and performed well. The singing is autotuned, and could use a little more work, but over all she looked comfortable. She’s crossing over like crazy.
