As news of Dr. Conrad Murray’s guilty verdict blazed across many-a-media outlet, fans and spectators alike reached out to voice their opinions. The high profile case, which sought to pinpoint Dr. Conrad Murray’s involvement (or possible lack thereof) in the death of pop icon Michael Jackson, ended today when a Californian jury found him guilty of involuntary manslaughter.

the point of the matter is…The greatest musical icon in the WORLD is dead due to negligence. 3 kids have lost a family, umpteen(lol who knows..i dont) brothers and sisters have lost a sibling..and parents have lost a child. There really isnt a winner here. Only justice. And for once, it was served. Thank God. R.I.P MJ. You deserve to sleep peacefully amongst the angels.

The family might be happy but this in no way, shape, or form solved the demons that michael
and his family have controlling them. Conrad Murray was a Doctor who as we all know had
no right to be doing what he was. However, Michael was a train on a one way track that no
man, woman, or child including his own could have stopped. When you have the money he
did, the flow of prescription narcotics is unstoppable regardless of where he chose to get
them. I dont see how the family or anyone feels that Dr Murray spendimg a few years in
prison somehow causes Michael’s “Soul to Finally Rest” when Michael was the primary
cause and primary problem of his Addiction.

I am glad the trial is over but I am anxious to hear Rev. Sharpton expound on his thoughts AND agree with those who believe this may not give the family the closure it REALLY needs….another sad day.
Who would have thought Nicki’s comment would be the most wise? I agree actually, this whole damn thing is a tragedy. Michael lost his life to his own demons. Conrad assisted and through his own ignorance and irresponsibility he killed a man. Two black men lost to the system, smh. Tragedy all around.

MICHAEL killed himself….he was depressed and HE acted irresponsibly by doing that type of crazy s*** knowing he had his children to look after. horrible example of a black man and horrible example of a father. I used to love Michael but i lost so much respect knowing how he went out…….Conrad was negligable and deserves jail time but dont for ONE SECOND think that Michael was victimized or anything, he would have got the drugs EITHER way and he was headed down a destructive path and on the verge of killing himself regardless.
