With his plans to release a Destiny’s Child biopic exposed by ‘Sony’ “hackers”, Mathew Knowles has come forward to spill a number of details about the forthcoming big screen release.

Speaking to the ‘Wall Street Journal’, Knowles bared all when quizzed on the project and his current ties to the group’s members who he hopes will reunite to support the project.

Will his plans come to fruition?

Peep the interview and weigh in on it below…

He shared:

Their story, which starts when they were nine or 10 years old in Houston, it’s a story that really engages you. It talks about their challenges, their successes, their failures. One of the great aspects of a Destiny’s Child movie … is the empowerment of the songs and the empowerment that Destiny’s Child has given to women. I would also want the ladies of Destiny’s Child to be involved and engaged with it and get their support. That would be important as well. That story is very special to us and we want to make sure and ensure that we get the right screenwriter, that we build the right team around it and that we have the right network.

That child support must be killing him smh. Its too early for such a movie. Wait til the 2020s maybe.

I find it ironic that the person that went the miles to put this group together, focused so hard to get Beyonce the spotlight and a solo career while the others suffered is now holding on to the group for dear life to feed two kids and two baby mamas. He must own the name, seeing how he’s the only releasing Love Songs albums and ish. Like Kelly said, it’s not up to him when they decides to regroup. If he was a good manger and focused on ALL careers, he would’ve had an empire. Latoya and Lasagna told yall how this demonwas in the 90s. The truth always comes out.

    Writings On The Wall = Destiny’s Fulfilled > Destiny’s Child >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> Survivor

    • Mark111 January 3, 2015

Survivor had great hits, well huge hits. But Walls is the best album and their last one was pretty good too. I never heard their self titled.

Child, the singles from “SURVIVOR” were huge but that’s about it… That album was a no no…

    • coolness January 3, 2015

YES to this! Writings on The Wall is one of my fav albums of all time. Temptation>>> Loved Destiny Fulfilled too. Survivor had their biggest hits but the album as a whole was a bit messy, lol. Their debut is so overlooked. What do you think of Second Nature and Killing Time? They were so young singing such mature lyrics, haha.

Alexis Jordan should play beyonce in the biopic

Poor thing. First Tuna Knowles left him, now his daughters have abandoned him. Was he even at Solange’s wedding? This is karma at its best. He’s was too busy with bey that he mistreated the other girls. He could’ve been a mogul and a respected individual in the music industry.

If the DC movie gets the greenlight, they definitely won’t let his thirsty ass anywhere near the movie. They may just buy the rights and leave him dry until he’s next sad attempt at money of DC. #LifeIsABitch

You can say what you will about Mathew Knowles, but he is
the a intelligent man, and the best person to tell the
story. It will probably be better than the Aliyah movie
    that Wendy Williams produce.

    • Dlady January 4, 2015

I thought I was the only person who caught that? Like at the very end of the day. It’s about business. Matthew is just saying. Hey! We all are the actual people who were there. Why not come together to tell the story? Like we are so far removed from earth these days. Only care about messy gossip instead of facing the truth.

Will Wendy Williams be producing this film as well…..
