Mariah Carey dolls herself up for her latest visual piece this week, all in aid of her forthcoming video for her new single ‘Triumphant‘.
Dressed in Gold and directed by husband Nick Cannon, the Platinum diva can be seen heading to a boxing ring in the snap above with collaborators Rick Ross and Meek Mill.
Despite its supporting LP set for a March 2013 release, fans can expect the full visual to premiere in the coming weeks.
She looks more in shape in that still than she has in a long time…so that’s something. The song is still horrible and she still sounds like a featured artist on her own record. Everything about “Triumphant” sounds like a mistake and major chart disaster waiting to happen. I doubt that the video will do more for the song other than give it a little extra publicity on blogs. Next.

The song is a flop, with a capital S-U-C-K-S. Nobody likes it…t’s not getting airplay anywhere…it didn’t make any dent on iTunes for the 5 minutes it was there…and the video (which is LAUGHABLY being directed by Nick Cannon) won’t help the songs performance.
The song is SUCH a colossal failure that her team had to abandon it and cop out by tagging it a “buzz single” to save face. There’s no such thing as a “buzz single” that goes on sale.
This album is off to a worser start than that Memoirs crap, and I predict another FLOP on her hands. American Idol ain’t gon’ save s*** for her.
