Beyonce is proving her latest smash hit ‘Break My Soul’ is more than just a party-starter, it’s a mantra for herself and fans.
As has been widely reported, the Hot 100 top 10 tune acts as the lead single from her seventh studio album ‘Renaissance,’ which is officially available for purchase and streaming now. Two days ahead of the LP’s scheduled July 29 release, however, it was plagued with a leak that saw it land online earlier than expected.
To the surprise of many, some of Bey’s eager fans (who have impatiently waited since 2016 for a new solo studio album from the diva) not only opted against taking advantage of the leak but even banded together to reprimand and report those who did.

Taking to Instagram early Friday morning (July 29), Bey uploaded an open letter penned to thank her beloved fan base (affectionately called #Beyhive) for defending the integrity of her latest opus.
In a short but sweet statement, the 40-year-old said:
“So, the album leaked, and you all actually waited until the proper release time so you all can enjoy it together. I’ve never seen anything like it. I can’t thank y’all enough for your love and protection. I appreciate you for calling out anyone that was trying to sneak into the club early. It means the world to me. Thank you for your unwavering support. Thank you for being patient. We are going to take our time and enjoy the music. I will continue to give my all and do my best to bring you joy.”

The album is pure 🗑 I can’t believe she released this mess. It’s repetitive, the beats sound the same, too much profanity and then she messed up a classic by Donna Summers. This album is all over the place and they are hyping it up because it’s Beyoncé. They will use payola to the 100th power to get it on the top charts and to help it win awards while shoving these horrible songs down our throat. Where is Mary J Blige when you need her.🤦🏽♂️

This might be her only album I can’t envision on tour. Dance remixes are needed to uplift most of the Trap Bossanova that is Act I. To her credit, and despite abundance of self-worship lyrics that WILL translate into haughty poses on televized performances, this is her FIRST time pulling off a “schizophonic” project. FINALLY!
