Below her sits Adele with the omnipresent ’21’ which shifted 220,000 units this week followed by Lady GaGa‘s ‘Born This Way‘ which sold 199,000 units in the last seven days.
With Beyonce, Lady GaGa and Adele claiming the top three spots in this week’s World Charts, perhaps now would be a good time for their less talented counterparts to start placing orders for a new batch of gimmicks.

What song of Beyonce’s has made any impact on the charts so far? She has yet to reach the top20 which for her is a horrid feat.
Oh and now since were talking about the r&b charts, since when did they become irrelevant? It’s funny that you mentioned that seeing as though Beyonce has yet to even reach #1 on that chart? Speaks volumes huh……
Kelly’s second single is out, and that should do great things as well. Kelly deserves her success. She’s confident and believes in herself this era, her performances wan’t lipped, parts of it were prerecorded, Beyonce does the same thing sometimes. Either way she still had the best performance bar none.

Yes Kelly is her own artist but no artist is an island. Kelly does need some supporters. I just don’t think that based off of one single that that is enough for Kelly to sell crazy records and be a household name. I want to see her succeed but she’s not making it easy for herself. She hasn’t released a follow up single and the album drops in 3 weeks. No TV promo no magazines. So instead of hating on the B fans be thankful that some of them (including me) will support Kelly no matter what simply because of her affiliation with B (Destiny’s Child).

Yes I understand what ur saying, but you have to hear me as well. Kelly is not at a place in her career where she is considered completely seperate from Beyonce. She’s just not. I will admit that she is a lot closer from not being affiliated with B than she was during the Ms. Kelly era. Radio interviewers don’t really bring B’s name up during the interviews anymore I noticed. But whenever you mention her name it still makes people think of Beyonce. It doesn’t work the other way around though. When you say Beyonce you don’t think Kelly Rowland, because B has put in the hard work and proved herself in the industry. Kelly needs for the next single to be a bigger smash than Motivation & for the album to be an overall success. I am definitely not buying the album as a favor to Beyonce. I am buying Kelly’s album because I too want her to suceed and finally be out of B’s shadow and be recognized as her own person. And because I have loved everything I’ve heard from her album so far. But Kelly has to help out her fans too and start caring about her album’s performance and getting the word out to the masses that Here I Am is out July 26th!!!

Adele’s major accomplishments have also been posted and Beyonce deserves to be congratulated for this one. Just because you don’t appreciate the album doesn’t mean it sucks. The album is getting great reviews and as someone who considers herself a big music fan, I think ‘4’ is a meaningful album with real music. I love the emotions, vulnerability, old school vibes, new school vibes, vocal arrangements, etc., it’s the perfect mix and it doesn’t sound like everything we hear on the radio all day. Like I said, I appreciate Adele also, but this post is mainly about Beyonce, she made a great album that is doing well and she deserves credit for that.

Gaga is only on her second major album. Bday sold a similar amount during its first week. It gets harder with each album because there is more buzz about newer artists or the next big thing. The goal is to just maintain longevity even if you have a slide in sales. That is what Beyonce is doing and Im sure Gaga will try and has a good chance to be able to do the same by the time she gets to her fourth album.
