Doja Cat has done it!

For, the performer’s new single ‘Paint The Town Red’ has hit a major milestone in the UK.

On this week’s freshly unwrapped edition of the Official UK Singles Chart, ‘Red’ reigns at #1.

The song’s ascend to the top spot comes after a five-week climb on the coveted count; one which saw the release denied pole position by the likes of Dua Lipa, Billie Eilish, and Olivia Rodrigo.

Doja finally triumphed this week, jumping one spot from #2 to knock Rodrigo’s ‘Vampire’ off the top.

In doing so, ‘Paint The Town Red’ becomes Doja’s first UK #1 single – besting her previous peak of #2 with her  2020 breakout bop, ‘Say So.’

The win comes as the September 22 release of the star’s new album ‘Scarlet’ approaches. Hotly anticipated, the LP is also home to ‘Attention’ and ‘Demon.’
