Lizzo‘s former dancers are speaking out. They addressed the poor reception of her new album, ‘B*TCH,’ amid their ongoing lawsuit against the singer.

The album sold just over 2,600 copies in its first week. In contrast, her 2022 album ‘Special’ debuted at #2 on the Billboard 200 with 39,000 copies sold.
The three dancers, Noelle Rodriguez, Arianna Davis, and Crystal Williams, spoke with CNN. They said they have mixed feelings about the trajectory of Lizzo’s career.
Rodriguez stated:
“It was never an intention to take down a plus-size woman of colour specifically. I don’t really think it’s our place to discuss or even have an opinion on how her career is going at this point, when that wasn’t even our reason for filing in the first place.”
She added:
“I think if anything, in retrospect, I’ve actually had some sadness in the fact that it has impacted her career.”
In 2023, the dancers filed a lawsuit against Lizzo and her production company. They claimed body-shaming, sexual harassment, and workplace hostility. The legal battle is still ongoing.
Lizzo has consistently denied the allegations. In 2024, she said she was “deeply hurt” and “completely blindsided” by the lawsuit.

Don’t back track now. Besides, it wasn’t just funding out she’s a huge pervert that ruined her. It’s everything else she’s done and said too. A gimmick that in reality stands for nothing.
Oh wow this was very calculated & nice nasty just to rub her nose in it. Omg the timing
That was exactly their intention. The wanted her to either pay their ransom or they’d ruin her reputation. But Lizzo is talented, seems contrite, and can be refined. This is why she will always have a lane. I just hope she’s established better boundaries with her new employees.
She’s awful. Even without the legal stuff she was on borrowed time with her gimmicky schtick.
I don’t think the lawsuit mattered i just don’t think she garnered enough attention to get the sales and also I just think ppl are over her.
