Sam Smith‘s latest album, the ill-fated ‘Hazel Eyes,’ may have marked a career milestone for them when it missed the Billboard 200 after its late August release, but the British singer-songwriter has far from abandoned the project.
Home to singles ‘My Guy,’ ‘When He’s Gone,’‘Oh Mother,’ ‘Love Is a Stillness,’ ‘Constant Companion,’ and ‘To Be Free,’ Smith’s latest LP – in addition to missing the all-genre album chart – also came as their first studio effort to lack ownership of a Hot 100 hit.
A bid to change the latter came courtesy of the GRAMMY winner’s visit to ‘The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon’ on Tuesday (October 7).
Beyond a quick chat about the album, Sam delivered a stunning live rendition of ‘Mother’ with accompaniment from the TwoCity Chorus choir.
