Dane Baptiste has long commanded the laughs with his unbridled brand of comedy.

And he continues along said trajectory with new BBC show ‘Bamous.’

The provocative special is centred on the NASBLAQ, a mythical stock index for black and famous talent.

Baptiste, who is joined by a cast of up and coming comedians, explores the NASBLAQ through a series of stand-up routines, topical updates and sketches that will no doubt leave viewers in stitches.

After years of silence on the matter, the talkshow maven is no longer being quiet about her ex-husband’s infidelity and the baby he fathered while in wedlock.

While plugging forthcoming biopic and documentary ‘Wendy Williams: A Hot Mess,’ the former shock jock mentioned Sharina Hudson by name, called out Kevin Hunter, and even referenced their child.

Despite criticism over costuming, casting, and the controversy surrounding the portrayal (or lack thereof) of group member DJ Spinderella, female Rap pioneers Salt-N-Pepa‘s Lifetime biopic soldiered on to small screens Saturday (January 23).

The Mario Van Peebles-directed endeavor – executive produced by Queen Latifah as well as the group’s members Cheryl ‘Salt’ James and Sandra ‘Pepa’ Denton – chronicled the duo’s rise in the male-dominated Hip Hop world and even spotlighted a number of personal struggles the ladies endured along the way.

Their lives played out alongside a soundtrack of their greatest hits (i.e. ‘Push It,’ ‘Whatta Man,’ ‘Shoop,’ etc.), look inside to see just how many people tuned in for the action.

‘Queen Sugar’ returns to OWN for its fifth season on February 16.

Widely praised for its potently layered portrayal of an African-American family in the Deep South, the series follows the complicated lives of the Bordelon clan.

Anchored by stars Kofi Siriboe, Dawn-Lyen Gardner, Bianca Lawson, and Rutina Wesley, ‘Sugar’ has also found favor for its purposeful use of female directors. Indeed, season five is entirely helmed three filmmakers: producing director Lauren Wolkstein, Lisa France and Cierra Glaude.

Apparently, fans of CW’s ‘All American’ couldn’t wait to glue their eyes to screens for the show’s season 3 return.
