The campaign to support The Weeknd‘s fourth official album and era, ‘After Hours,’ may have kicked off in late 2019, but review of the Hot 100 reveals content from the effort shows no sign of loosening grip on the tally.

While ‘Hours’ most noted hit, ‘Blinding Lights,’ is enjoying its record-extending 37th week in the top 5 (making it the longest-running of such hit ranking to date), it also notched its 52nd week in the Hot 100’s top 20 and sits in record books as the second longest-running top 20 hit ever.

And while those wins are certainly enough to celebrate, the latter-mentioned chart territory has now welcomed a new tenant from ‘Hours’ – ‘Save Your Tears.’

Despite criticism over costuming, casting, and the controversy surrounding the portrayal (or lack thereof) of group member DJ Spinderella, female Rap pioneers Salt-N-Pepa‘s Lifetime biopic soldiered on to small screens Saturday (January 23).

The Mario Van Peebles-directed endeavor – executive produced by Queen Latifah as well as the group’s members Cheryl ‘Salt’ James and Sandra ‘Pepa’ Denton – chronicled the duo’s rise in the male-dominated Hip Hop world and even spotlighted a number of personal struggles the ladies endured along the way.

Their lives played out alongside a soundtrack of their greatest hits (i.e. ‘Push It,’ ‘Whatta Man,’ ‘Shoop,’ etc.), look inside to see just how many people tuned in for the action.

Tory Lanez is lobbying for a gag order to be lifted, so as for him to speak about Megan Thee Stallion.

As reported, the femcee recently hit out at the Canadian star during a broader vent on social media about claims that the case against him had been dropped when it hadn’t.

Doubling down on her allegation that Lanez shot her, she added “you going to jail!”

Well, he now wants to turn the volume on his voice.

The Weeknd is giving fans a chance to celebrate his biggest bops ahead of his headlining set at the Super Bowl Halftime Show.

Today, the eclectic singer unveiled a greatest hits collection, christened ‘The Highlights.’

Comprised of 18-tracks, the set includes jams such as ‘Blinding Lights,’ ‘Starboy,’ and ‘I Feel It Coming.’

Already available from the star’s website, the compilation has fans speculation which tracks Abel will be bringing to the stage during his performance at the ‘Bowl on February 7 at Tampa’s Raymond James Stadium.

Megan Thee Stallion‘s career has been on fire of late and recent release ‘Body’ has proven to be audio kerosene.

Fuelled by a highly viral TikTok challenge, the track – which lifted from the femcee’s ‘Good News’ album – climbed all the way to #12 on the Billboard Hot 100.

There aren’t many who can boast the kind of critical acclaim and longevity Tamia and Deborah Cox have garnered over their respective 25+ years in the industry.  And from the looks of things, the legendary GRAMMY nominees are showing no signs of slowing.

In March 2020, the diva duo dropped jaws with their stunning rendition of Whitney Houston and Cece Winans‘ classic duet ‘Count on Me’ (found aboard the 1995 ‘Waiting to Exhale’ soundtrack).
