Not even two days after announcing her return from hiatus and Megan Thee Stallion is already seeing her name attached to newly lifted music.

The latest comes courtesy of American DJs Marshmello and Nitti Gritti via the EDM-based new cut, ‘Bad B*tches.’  Featuring live vocals from the ‘Savage’ GRAMMY winner, the tune is found aboard Marshmello’s June 11-due new studio album, ‘Shockwaves’ (which is due for release the same day as Stallion’s new single ‘Thot Sh*t’).

Usher may have a Las Vegas residency on the horizon, but he’s somehow managed to film a surprise short film in partnership with beverage brand Rémy Martin too.

Directed by Jake Nava, the visual celebrates the intertwined excellence of music and Cognac.

Aptly titled ‘Team Up For Excellence – The Film,’ the slick production spotlights the cultural link between Cognac and American music since 1917 in France — and how both have been linked ever since.

The 8-time GRAMMY winner invites viewers on a journey that spans the 1920’s through to the present day.

Along the way, the flick pays homage to the multi–cultural connections, styles, and rhythms of the past. From Blues to Hip–Hop Swing to Break–Dancing; all of which are very much anchored in the drive to excel.

Speaking on the film, the performer said:

“Music doesn’t need Cognac to exist, and Cognac doesn’t need Music to exist, but what is beautiful is that they were meant to meet and when they did, they created cultural harmony.”

As we reported here, the boys of BTS kicked off the month with the release of the explosive music video for their latest single ‘Film Out,’ which acts as the newest taste from their next Japanese LP, ‘BTS: the Best’ (on digital shelves June 16).

Produced by group member Jungkook, the song received the ultimate global launch on the wings of its inclusion on the soundtrack to the April 2-released Japanese film, ‘SIGNAL The Movie Cold Case Investigation Unit.’

With its first full sales tracking week in its rearview, ‘Film’ made an impressive premiere on the refreshed singles chart.  So much so, it’s landed the Korean septet in familiar territory: the Hot 100 history books.

The revolution will be televised if H.E.R. has any say so on the matter.

‘Fight For You,’ the follow-up to her highest charting solo hit yet (‘Damage’), was an immediate knockout with fans and critics upon its early February release.  Now, the GRAMMY winner’s unveiled the empowering music video for the Golden Globe & Academy Award-nominated tune.

Found aboard the ‘Judas & the Black Messiah’ official soundtrack, the song’s accompanying visual fittingly pays homage to the Black Panther movement and draws attention to the history of violence against African Americans in the United States.

Its first two incarnations may have signaled a flop, but Dua Lipa‘s song ‘Levitating’ has reaffirmed the age old adage – ‘the third time’s the charm.’

After tapping DaBaby to assist its latest adaptation, radio listeners immediately ate that version up – a feat supported by Lipa’s onslaught of live promotion of the tune that saw her perform it at ‘SNL,’ the American Music Awards, and more.  Together, the increased action helped hoist it to top 20 status on the Hot 100 just weeks after its premiere (marking her fourth career visit to the chart region).

Despite being pushed out of said region due to the influx of holiday hits, those tunes’ disappearing act from the tally has helped ‘Levitating’ live up to its namesake on the refreshed chart.
