As proud purveyors of Pop, we love us some Spice Girls. Indeed, who doesn’t?

Yet, there comes a time when an artist is tasked with realizing that their commercial run has wrapped. Call it a “transition”, if you will.

Unfortunately for Spice’s Geri Halliwell, the memo hasn’t landed on her lap or, worse still, is being flat-out ignored.

Case, point, the 41-year-old’s performance of the group’s debut single ‘Wannabe’ on Australia’s Got Talent last night. The irony in the song choice and the fact Halliwell actually judges on the show is priceless.

In response to a poll which saw four out of five parents say they have caught their children imitating ‘raunchy’ dance moves performed by their favourite entertainers, the campaign group ‘Rewind & Frame’ readies the launch of a movement they hope will see music videos given age ratings to protect their more impressionable viewers.

For all of four years, the Pussycat Dolls dominated the Pop music landscape. Yet, with alarming swiftness, the ladies went their separate aways in 2010 amidst rumors of in-fighting and favouritism.

Fast forward to today, and like most disbanded groups, each member has gone on to experience varying levels of success in their solo ventures – the most notable being lead singer Nicole Scherzinger.

However, with the X Factor UK judge still trying to find her footing as a solo artist, it’s surprising (or perhaps not) that talk of a PCD reunion has surfaced – courtesy of former member Carmit Bachar (not pictured above).

During a recent interview with Maximo TV, the fiery redhead – who left the group prior to the release of sophomore album ‘Doll Domination’ – revealed that discussions are underway for a number of reunion themed projects.

With less than 48 hours remaining until the debut of Mariah Carey‘s single ‘The Art Of Letting Go’, the singer’s longtime collaborator and newly-appointed manager Jermaine Dupri is spilling on the track’s out-of-the-box launch campaign.

As earlier reported, the Rodney ‘Darkchild’ Jerkins produced cut will premiere exclusively on Facebook on November 11th; immediately after it’ll impact both iTunes and radio. Needless to say, Team Mimi are launching an all-out chart assault.

Speaking on the record’s roll-out, hitmaker JD dished all to diva’s dedicated Lambs – waxing honest on his reasons for approaching Facebook, as well as some of the challenges he’s encountered in the run-up to the song’s release.

Iconic diva Toni Braxton took front, stage, centre at the Breeders Cup 2013 recently, performing America’s most iconic song – ‘The Star Spangled Banner’.

The high-profile spot is the latest of many lined up in support of the soulful contralto’s new duet album with Babyface ‘Love, Marriage & Divorce’ – which hits stores on February 4th 2014.

Looks like our friend Lady Gaga isn’t the only one headed outer space!

‘Turn On the Lights’ rapper Future sheds light on yet another clip from his intergalactically-themed visual for “Real and True” – the Miley Cyrus-assisted single from his sophomore album ‘Honest’.

Directed by Rankin, the Mike Will Made It-produced tune sees its accompanying visual fall in line with Future’s previous space-themed offerings like mixtape ‘Astronaut Status’ and his debut ‘Pluto’.

With the rapper reportedly ready to ‘close that chapter’ of his career and launch a new one, will ‘Real and True’ be the perfect send off?  Check in below and tell us:

And…the claws are out yet again.

Indeed, it’s been two years since Queen of Pop Madonna took her first jab at pop princess Lady Gaga – labeling the young Grammy winner’s 2011 hit ‘Born This Way’ as “reductive” for its similarity to her 1989 hit ‘Express Yourself’.

What came after were months and months of Madonna doing just that – expressing herself via interviews and a highly publicized “Born This Way/Express Yourself” mashup performed live on her blockbuster ‘M.D.N.A.‘ world tour that courted much attention from her fans and Little Monsters alike.

Unlike Madge, Gaga has kept fairly mum on the topic since its beginnings, but now the ‘Poker Face’ performer is dealing a new hand to reheat a battle some thought had cooled.  Her newest statements below:

Grammy winning songstress Ciara has certainly been doing her fair share of winning lately.

In addition to sending her faithful #CSquad into a frenzy over news that she was working on a new album, she also announced that the fan favorite “Overdose” (from her latest self-titled album) had been elected to be a single.  Then, the icing on the cake (all pun intended), came with reports that she and longtime beau/rapper Future were engaged.

As buzz – both positive and negative – behind the nuptials builds, Cici shared dibs recently on the wedding plans (which are already in effect).  As you check those out below, also get into future hubby Future setting the record straight on the drama that ensued in the past days after Ci took to the net to share some family photos:

This week’s That Grape Juice Cover Star is Stevie Brock who gave an undeniably rocking version of ‘Gorilla’ by Bruno Mars.  Don’t believe us?  See for yourself:

Don’t hurt ’em, Stevie!

If you closed your eyes in parts, you’d be convinced you were listening to Bruno himself.  An uncanny similarity to the Hawaiian hitmaker, Brock rocked this cover with passion and power – a clear cut above the karaoke crooners that flood Youtube.

We are keen to find out what’s next for Stevie!  With a voice like that, radio and listeners alike are done a great disservice if he remains absent from it.

Bravissimo!

Christina Aguilera and A Great Big World are wasting no time capitalizing on the out-of-the-gate success of their new single ‘Say Something’.

Fresh from rocketing to the top of the iTunes tally with the stirring track, the acts shot the video for it yesterday in Los Angeles. Check out the snap from set Xtina shared with her fans today above.

Echoing our earlier expressed sentiments, it’s great to see Christina working the collaboration circuit and achieving ample success with it. Here’s hoping it has a ripple effect once she is ready to release music of her own.
